Physical Description
Tara is quite a small kelvic at about 5”4” and weighing around 120lbs. She has a light and almost delicate looking frame. She is lithe and flexible and quite a fast runner. She is agile enough to dodge attacks and weapons. She can slip into tight spaces and get into places with ease. She had long hair which reaches to just above her waist. It is a soft black tinted with deep blue, which shimmers in the light. Her skin is pale and her lips are light peach. Her eyes are distinctly cat-like, being large and curving downwards with a black rim. Her eyes are bold amber with long, slim pupils. Her canines are longer than a humans and end in a point but only visible if she opens her mouth or smiles. Her nails are more claw like than anything else, ending in a sharp point. They are quite strong and aid her while climbing.

She wears a silver dress which hugs her figure until it reaches her waist. From there it flows down to just above her knees. She wears white sandals but often abandons them once she is out of any cities. She also wears a black cloak with a hood. She carries a small bag with her pouch, a comb and a knife. She doesn’t carry much as she does not see the need to. She gets her food and water from the world around her. She has a bow and some arrows slung over her back while travelling but if she is staying somewhere she will often find somewhere secret to hide it as it is bulky to carry around with her.

Character Concept

Tara is a kind kelvic, though it is hidden behind a layer of uncertainty. She is distrustful and often comes off as cold and distant. She doesn’t have a very long attention span and gets distracted easily. She is good at knowing how someone feels, but not so good at knowing how to react. She is deceptive and often manipulates people. She is extremely curious and hates not knowing things. She very proud when it comes to accepting help or defeat, but that said she will not start a fight with someone who she can’t take on. She won’t fight useless battles. She finds a certain amount of pleasure in making people angry at her, and she enjoys taunting those who anger easily but she usually won’t let it escalate into violence. She does not take much interest in luxuries but enjoys simpler things in life.

Tara is very critical of things. She also hates being in a situation where she doesn’t know exactly who is where. She relies heavily on her senses and hates being taken by surprise. She is always on alert and is very instinctual. She usually does things based on what the animalistic side of her feels like. She will always carefully assess everyone when she enters a room. She hates crowds as she cannot possibly know who each and everyone is and what they’re capable of. It makes her somewhat paranoid. She had little to no interest in any local laws of any sort. She doesn't take much notice of rules and if they are enforced strictly she will even go out of her way to break them, going unnoticed of course. She takes a great amount of pleasure in breaking laws and not being caught while right under guards noses.

Character History

Tara was born in the spring of 509AV in Taldera. She was born to a leopard kelvic, Tara believed. At the age of two weeks she was sold to a rich Syliran family, made up of a couple and their only daughter Léoné. They had got Tara for Léoné’s eighth birthday and two quickly became inseparable. When Tara was given to Léoné’s family they did not know what animal Tara would shift into, and so they had gotten her for protection. When they found out she was a feline they wanted to give her back but Léoné would not allow it.

And so they kept the little kelvic, who was only the equivalent to a three year old child. They gave her a bow and arrows and Léoné’s father taught her to use them, and she quickly became efficient at it. She used it to hunt even though the family treated her like a spoiled cat; she would bring ‘gifts’ back to Léoné and her family. However when Tara turned six months, or nine years, Léoné fell ill. It was then that the parents of Léoné decided that Tara should be thrown out and they carried out their decision. Tara was left on the streets, though she stayed close, checking on her bondmate. However Léoné died soon after and Tara was heartbroken.

She stayed in her feline form most of the time and wandered the streets of Syliras. Then one day she saw a wolf kelvic who was travelling through the town with his bondmate. Tara followed them; taking protection and food from them but eventually after they had travelled through Taldera they doubled back and ended up in Syliras again. It was there that she found a young man. She managed to trick him into teaching her Reimancy and then she left him.

She travelled through the wildlands and managed to earn a good bit of coin. She would stalk passing hunters and then pretend to be hurt. When they came to her aid she would rob them, and usually murder them as well. She still had her bow and arrows and she would hunt for food. Eventually she got older, but having run from her memories for so long she had forgotten a lot of her past. That was why she returned to Syliras. There she recalled her memories and moved on.
