Coren had slowly began to foster a bit of hope that he had managed to shake of the strange yak and got himself out of the bit of trouble his bit of foolishness had caused for himself. Only for that bit of hope to be brutally chopped to pieces as just as he noticed the same yak lying down on the side of the street and was staring at him. Almost seeming as if the animal was mocking him. Coren just let out a deep sigh. Well it seemed that the animal wasn't really going to attack him on sight at least. Maybe it thought that it had won their little struggle, which coren couldn't help but grudgingly agree on that point. As he made himself small and refused to look the animal in the eyes. Something he was told was a sign of submission in some animal's minds, hoping that doing that would please the weird yak enough to let him go without trying to gore him if he just caved and admitted the yak was the stronger one of the both of them. Still right after he acknowledged the yak as being the stronger one off the two of them he still followed his first plan and quickly shoved himself into the crowd. Hoping to draw himself out of sight and have a few people in between him if he had done something wrong and the creature decided to attack him anyways. |
