Character History Nadya was raised by her mother, a prostitute, older sister Lyalya, and all her older brothers. While her sister hung out with all the young men in their pod and learned to fight and fend for herself, Nadya withdrew, letting her brothers and their friends walk all over her. Her sister was her idol, the only person who thought she was strong and beautiful. However, once Lyalya left upon seeing her mother raped and tortured, she abandoned Nadya to the same fate. It wasn’t for another year that she left, looking for a life that wasn’t as cruel. She holds a resentment towards her family for not protecting her, and they all lost contact as each individual left the pod. Lyalya never even knew what happened, or that their mother had died and the pod had split. Sadly, life so far wasn’t much better since she left the Sea.
