Vital Stats Name: (First) Malaki- Ma*luh*ky (Last) Masaluso- Ma*sah*loo*s Race: Akalak Age: 56 Birthday: Season of Spring, Year 456AV Gender: Male Sexuality: Straight Eye color: Gold Height: 7'1 ½ Weight: 209lbs
Physical Description Even at his tallest he stands no more than 7’1 ½ feet tall with an aquatic blue skin tone. Not body builder large but slightly more muscled than your average male. His left shoulder bears a prominent tattoo that curls down his shoulder blade and bicep. Konti healers have sparred him his more noticeable scars but he still carries a deep back wound that has puckered a deeper blue still and covers the majority of his back. On his inner right thigh is also a thick diagonal scar and small superficial scars litter his body and face from training, though most are hidden by his skin tone.
Like most Akalak he is clean shaven although he waits longer than most before actually shaving again. His hair is long and wavy, stopping waist length but is usually done in dreadlocks by the females that live in Riverfall and his mother. His facial features are sharp if not a little gaunt, with a pronounce jaw, eyebrow ridge and cheekbones. And set in his face are bright gold colored eyes.

Those who first get a glimpse of the giant blue man usually quickly gaze away for his face seems to be set in a permanent scowl. Of course, this is not far from the truth. He is a gruff young Akalak with a soft gooey center—that is, if you can reach it.
A bit awkward he is never one to start a conversation--and if he does it often fails horribly--and often seems genuinely surprised when people begin conversation. As such, he is prone to simply walking away. He will neither give comfort nor have want to receive it he has a foul mouth and a fouler temper, especially in the warmer days seeing as he prefers the cooler seasons. He is not one to mince words but knows what is not appropriate so he will often simply say nothing.
If you can get beneath that though you will find he has a soft spot for ‘cute things’ and is very much the gentleman—aside from his language of course. He is always contemplative and has a keen eye for detail. He enjoys a good joke, even at his expense though he does not laugh easily and is highly amused by children’s antics but is ever the stern adult.
With women he is not suave or very articulate but he is a man of action and will always try to make semi-pleasant conversation along with romantic gestures.

Kripke
Where Malik is a bit quiet and gruff, Kripke is deceptively friendly and jovial. He will do anything for a laugh and seems ever the fool. Of course, this is not so and everything he does has some form of higher purpose, manipulation is where he exceeds and he will bely all pride to get what he desires.
Unlike his light brother he has endless patience and will always see things to the end rather than become angry but those who have felt his wrath know he has a penchant for mental torture and is quite good at it.
Tacklass but suave would best describe Malaki’s dark brother around women, while he has no problems telling one hot fat she looks in that dress he is also quick to tell another how beautiful her eyes are. His libido is a bit like any teenage boys and he has a string of lovers that have nothing to do with Malaki.

Generally speaking all Akalak are considered great fighters but passive souls. His father exuded this aura and the young Malaki wished for nothing more than to be like his father. As a child he was strangely clumsy, often tripping over air and easily embarrassed which fueled his quick temper. Still he tried to be as quiet and patient as his father and while he learned to listen better than speak he never gained his father’s patience.
His days were simple as a child, consisting of staying at home with his mother for the morning hours and then in the evening training with his father. He had no siblings and as such his only sort of companionship was usually his parents, his foul mouth and temper making it difficult to find friends.
And thus his childhood passed swiftly.
As he reached his young preteen years Malaki had become a stern looking young man with a gentle disposition. If he was not found training he could be found wandering around Riverfall, often with birds of some sort or even a young woman or two.
By the time his Rite of Trail came around he was more than ready. Training his whole life to prove his worth to his father. And pass he did, none in his group died though many were injured, severely so and even he himself had to rest for many weeks.
Malaki was a bit of a ‘late-bloomer’ his dark brother not appearing until after his Rite of Trial. This greatly worried both his parents who feared his other half would come exploding out. This was not the case and Kripke crept out with a smile that soothed the fear if only for a moment for they quickly realized he was not one to relinquish control easily.
It was a constant struggle for the next two years. Malaki not truly prepared for how hard it would be to fight for control and even contemplated giving up. This never came to pass, for his mother drugged him and whatever battle raged in the young boys head ended swiftly and when he awoke Kripke was put back in his place and thought to simply be biding his time.
The issue with his dark brother being what it was Malaki was late in choosing his profession but was steady and quick in picking his slot in life. He quickly gained apprenticeship as a cobbler and began his training.
A hardworking young adult and quite obviously running from the shame of his almost becoming a Cerulean his days passed quickly with a simple routine. Work, take care of his home, train. He did not even allow himself rest or time to re-take up his hobbies, instead sticking only to what must be done.
Upon reaching the ripe age of 30 Malaki was prepared for his Rite of Passage. Taking longer than most he was gone for two months with one other Akalak man. Speculation that they had run away or been killed floated around, his parents have no choice but to mourn him and move on.
When he finally did return, he brought with him the head of a Zith and said naught of what transpired, only that he was home and ready to take his father’s namesake. His companion was not with him.
So far his life has passed without a general upheavel, save for the small rumor going around that he may be impotent. It has yet to have been proven...or disproven.
He currently lives in Riverfall in the Baywatch Apartments.

Mother: Him and his mother are close though they are not exactly fond of each other. Malaki has never quite trusted her after the incident with the drugging, no matter her reasoning and his mother has thin patience and is known for her biting words.
They tell each other everything though. And are known to end up in deep conversation or deep arguments depending on their moods. It is an odd relationship and they are not above teasing each other with a bit of mean spirited fun. Still Malaki would never let another disrespect his mother (even though he himself does) and is even curbs his swearing when she is around.
Father: A quiet man by nature but not hard to read, his face and actions speaking in volumes. Malaki is has ever been the ‘daddy’s boy’. Of course, this does mean the two get on. His father rarely speaks and when his does it is hardly to ever give praise or thanks, which is all Malaki wishes for—to make his father proud.
While they care for each other, they do not really speak. At the same time, they do not need too, though Malaki is not the little boy who constantly trotted after his father with a smile, they often share companionable if not awkward silence some days.
Kripke: Kripke thoughts on Malaki: Feels his light brother is a bit of an ass at times. He is often surprised by how quickly he resorts to physical actions and thinks of him as a ‘muscle bound oaf’.
Malaki: Malaki thoughts on Kripke: Says he is a jakri and will say nothing more on the subject.
