Hadrian considered Kaeson, and though his Vantha-bright eyes didn't change color, they might have been disconcerting all the same in their laser-like focus. He had spent enough time in Hadrian's presence that he was getting a more holistic understanding of his aura, and with concentration, his Lykata could pull off details from the chavi of Kaeson's clothes, his things. They were little details, but Hadrian was an academic well used to processing data and finding patterns. "I'm going to speak to your professors," he said finally. "Come to the orphanage tomorrow. We'll have you animate a toy for the children, and if you come highly recommended, I might hire you as a research assistant." Until he was more established, he would have to pay Kaeson out of pocket, but he was willing to do so if the student was bright. There was so much work to be done.

"Of course, Professor Aelius. That would be expected." Kaeson smiled, confident in his reputation at the university. He had rarely had any incident in any of classes, aside some mild overgiving in a glyphing class. Of course, Kaeson hardly expected Professor Moara to bring that up should Hadrian seek out her recommendation. Besides, he had more then made up for that in the rest of her classes.

"And you can expect me at the orphanage tomorrow. I'll be happy to animate any of the toys there."
