OOCAwe, well that's a bummer. I thought the new order was going into effect now that everyone had a shot at a post in the last interaction. I was just waiting for the first person in line or whoever wanted to start it off.

Orion Orion could only smirk as the woman walked away. She was one of those types, huh? The kind that seemed to think she knew everything. Orion had his way with others like her before, and really, their desire to avoid being treated like a thing only made him desire it more. It was really a sad circle. Everyone had their stories for why they were who they were, just like he did. It looks like hers is hidden behind laughter and snappy comments. He nodded in acknowledgement of Maeva. Tourmal had himself an interesting woman there, if nothing else. The horrible things the could do together. But he would leave it be. Experience had taught Orion and Tourmal it was best if they don't go after the same woman, and by the way that temptress would look at his Drykas friend, Orion was more than a step behind. "Orion. A pleasure, Maeva. Yeah, we go back a couple years, he and I. He gave me advice on picking up women when I was more than a dozen mugs in, and probably a couple dozen failure in, too. Best friends for ever after that," he chuckled, giving his friend a pat on the shoulder. His laughter was short lived though, as the other Drykas was obviously displeased with their actions. "I didn't know your type to be all prim and proper like that, Tourmal. How annoying." The doctor shook his head and stood from the table. "I'm going to excuse myself for the evening. I have anymore drinks and I'm likely to cross someone and end up crossing the knights, too." He gave a wave to Tourmal and a wink to Maeva before making his way for the tavern door.

Tourmal, Fall 13, 512 AV When the woman walked off to sit at the bar. Tourmal was puzzled as to why or how Orion would let someone of that caliber fall out of his hands. He looked over to his friend and found a smirk on his face. It was then he realized the chase was not over and Orion had found worthy game. But the whole ordeal may not be a game to him when he finished the hunt. He had recently been in an argument with someone somewhat serious to him. The type of thing that happens rarely in his life, and the drykas had to wonder if this would end the same way. The man returned his attention to his meal having only eaten a small portion of it before the fiasco. He kept at it for a while missing completely his friends subtle advance on his partner for the night. Then looked over to Maeva and Orion and asked if they would like to share some. As the man spoke Tourmal listented. The doctor was a perfect image of politeness. But the smith new better than that. The man was laying ground work for later. Which knowing both of them would end in the two entangled in a knot of arms and legs in either room of theirs. “Would you at least let me leave before you start flirting with my date? Come on.” The man smiled while he said it half joking half serious. He kept up with his meal. “Yea I suppose there is a stray here and there that makes it through. More often than not we aren't that way at all.” He added in response to Orion's pointed question towards drykas in general. He took no offense though. The other was an oddity amongst the race. However he may prove useful. As his friend left he acknowledged his caution with acceptance. “You may have a point there” The man ate for a bit more nearly finishing his cheese and his bread was long gone. He had another drink to wash it down, and was feeling ready for a night of unadulterated sex with his voluptuous vixen at his side. Before he left with her in hand. He walked to the two, expressed his condolences hoping he had not ruined their nights. “Farewell you two. Hope you have a good time. I know I did. What do you say about meeting up again.” He spoke to the two of them smiling remembering how Orion had been. He hoped the man would be out of his funk by then. And secretly that his partner in crime was occupied for the next meeting. But even if he wasn't the night could only get more interesting than this one. He flung his cloak around him fastened it with his brooch and placed an arm around Maeva while walking out the door covering her with his cloak. “We don't want the girls to get cold now.” he said after a few“So do you want to pick up where we left off last time?” He gave her a look that she knew the meaning of and winked at her. On the subject of posting orders, it is a good idea to pick one and stick to it. Not only will that keep things orderly but it also helps ST's when grading. Now then, fun threads guys and gals, I enjoyed reading it. Just be sure to deduct the cost of the drinks from your ledgers if you haven't already.
