Hey there, Vilen! Welcome to Mizahar, first of all. I'm not an ST in Kalea, but I have a PC there, so hopefully this helps.
If your character is a Dek, there should be a reason. As in the lore it states: "They are unskilled, and hold no rank within Wind Reach. Many drudges have physical or mental ailments or diseases that make them unsuitable for other castes." Keep in mind, also that if you choose your Inarta looks different, or is half-blood which is why she is in the Dek caste, that "Wind eagles rarely bond with non-Inarta. It seems almost taboo among them to do so."
Dek, also, have very, very little free time. Since they are so overworked, and not cared for, to have regular access to the same aerie for a year, though probable, would be difficult. Especially since others might notice, and try to prevent the same Dek from being there consistently, since who wants a Dek to become an Endal?
If the eagle shows interest though, she would have to work on the bond on her own time, which means sacrificing either eating or sleeping since she would be working day in and day out as a Dek. Keep in mind their lifespans are significantly shorter due to the nature they are treated with.
Additionally, the moment she bonds with an Eagle, she becomes an Endal. No matter the age. She will immediately begin training with the Eagle, and provide for Wind Reach as is expected. She might not be hunting alone for a while if she is young, but she will be expected to become a proficient provider for Wind Reach as the rest of the Endal, whether as a fighter, peacekeeper, hunter, or trade route flier.
The fact she was a Dek, I can imagine being a popular taunt, though only midst other Endal, since none below her would dare say such. Mostly though, once you're Endal, you're Endal. Work to gain their respect, and they'll give it to you.
This talks about Wind Eagles specifically, and I think will help. And
here is the lore on the Endal caste.
Best of luck.
