His hair is kept slicked back every morning, but as the day progresses his hair becomes more and more messy. (Reference the three different pictures)Marvin keeps it very short on the sides and in the back, not passing an inch and a half. The top of his head is kept a little bit longer, at its longest maybe three inches.

Character Concept
Marvin is a businessman among businessmen. Marvin must constantly promote himself to a group of people who are constantly trying to promote themselves. Though he is not sought after like his employers are, he must make himself look like a necessity to those who wish to travel. Marvin is a guard, though he is not the most typical kind of guard. Marvin is the type of guard who is constantly traveling from town to town, with no real, or permanent boss. Marvin is a freelancing body guard, and because he has no constant job is the reason why he must sell his services to traders.
Though while he is in a lull for business he is willing to sell his services as a personal defense trainer. Teaching people how to fight with either a Sabre, or how to fight unarmed. He is less prideful of this job, as he sees it holds less coin then being a guard.
Outside of his job Marvin always keep his head in his business, always trying to help someone out only to try and promote his services to them, or to get them to try and promote him as well. Marvin is always to impress people so that his name will be sent through Sylira and that he will hopefully always have a job.
Marvin has very little prejudices as a guard, but as a person is on the border of being a very prejudges man. (I will put this list of hate in degree of worse to least, going from left, down.)
Marvin was born into a small traders family. They constantly were traveling from the capital to Zeltiva to Sunberth, as well as other towns in the local region. They traveled by foot, as it was shorter (In some cases) and a lot cheaper than paying for a boat. While facing the dangers of land travel, the family was constantly attacked and to counter-act their being attacked, continuously took up other people into their caravan to try and make the caravan as large as possible, to save them from the attackers.
At the age of about 10, Marv started to notice how dangerous the landscape actually was, as he was no longer hidden from the ambushes and massive attacks. He noticed how many shady characters, creatures, and people were out there; constantly watching the caravan and watching, hoping that someone would get left behind. It made Marv realize that he needed to prepare himself for his independence, and he needed to learn how to defend himself.
Marv, in this moment of inspiration, started earning money from the locals of the towns they frequented. Doing small jobs for them, or helping a trader sell his wares for the day. After a couple of seasons of doing mostly physical labor, he had earned enough money for his desired purchase. He bought himself a Tulwar long sword(A heavy ended Sabre, the Tulwar is an easy to use weapon and is extremely functional), and hired a trainer to help him learn how to handle a sword properly in defense.
At the age of 18 Marv moved back to Zeltiva and became a sell sword to local traders, helping them go to their destinations, and then selling his services to traders/travelers back to Zeltiva, or other parts of the Sylira region. At first no one would hire him, because he was brand new and he had no previous job experience, making him untrustworthy in eyes of travelers. He lived in absolute poverty, managing to stay alive by helping teach people sword techniques. After a few jobs, and a good word by a friend, he was hired to go on his first expedition at the age of 19. The trader was going from Zeltiva to Syliras, so not too long of travel.
They headed out the next morning. The two of them met up with at least 30 other traders and their respective bodyguards. The caravan walked out through Mirahil Pass, the mountain pass leading out of Zeltiva into the Wildlands. That morning was probably the scariest morning Marvin was ever apart of, because for the first time it was him that had to do the fighting, instead of watching guards do it for him. The caravan wasn't badly wounded as a whole, but Marvin had suffered from a deep gash into his forearm. It would later leave a scar from his elbow to his wrist. A memory almost.
They got to Syliras with little trouble, minus the almost constant fighting the guards had to do. No one was killed, expect for one guard named Bob Eaden. He was an elder gentleman, and was in fact the man that had spread the good word of Marvin Gunddus. Marvin spent the next day in Syliras mourning the death of the closest person he could call a friend, and a mentor.
Marvin was then hired on and off throughout the seasons, though he noticed a pattern. During the middle of Spring would be the easiest time to get hired, because of so many people wanting to travel after the harsh Winter season. Summer would be his busiest, followed by early Fall. Even with all three of these seasons being successful, Winter was always the hardest, and most often then not his business of being a personal trainer to help other people learn to defend themselves would pick up (He always is willing to be a personal trainer when there is a lull in his work, though he will refuses to be a personal trainer in the city of Sunberth, or to anyone he has a prejudges against).

I am currently, um, 25, er, 26 years of age.

I don't know exact measurements, but if I had to guess, I'd say about 5 foot, 10 inches. Imperial units, of course.

I have no idea! I'd say above 160 and below 190.

I see myself as a business man constantly trying to sell my services to other businessmen.

To be honest, I don't really know or care, but since I have to answer, 'pest' comes to mind.

I am very fit. I have to be for my line of work.

I try to dress in colors that, uh, blend in with my, "work" surroundings. So very earthy colors, ya know?
I don't really have a style. I just dress in the clothes that I can afford at the moment.
Family :
1. Who are your parents and what are they like?
I was born into a very, let's say, protective family. My mother and my father, Mary and Jasper Gunddus, kept me very hidden from the dangerous world around me as a child, until I hit around the age of, 10? Then I was allowed to see what actually went on in the caravan.
2. Do you have any brothers or sisters?
Thank the Gods that I do not.
3. What is your extended family like?
I don't know if I have any extended family really. Just me mum and pop.
4. Do you consider close friends as important or more/less important than family?
I consider friends to be just as close, if not more, than family. Because family is supposedly always going to have your back, but friends chose to have your back, and so if I ever got friends I think I'd hold 'em closer because of that.
5. Do you treat animals like family?
Uhm, it really depends. I mean if that animal, or I, have viscous intent, then no. But if it's a pet, or one of them Kelvic types, than yeah, I guess.

I was born in Zeltiva, Sylira.

I love where I live, I couldn't image changing where I live permanently.

Anywhere that's not Sunberth.

Sunberth for more than 3 days at a time.
Traits :
1. Do you have any physical weaknesses (disease, scars, and missing limbs?)
My left arm isn't completely there. Like, it's whole and shit, but it's hard to make a fist with my left hand.
I suffer from Alopecia Areata from the neck down. For them that don't know, that means I can't grow hair on my body, except my face and the top of me head.
I have a scar on my right arm, from my elbow to my wrist. I have another scar behind my left ear. A third just above my right nipple, and a fourth in a place few have ever seen. My foot. Ya pervs.
2. Are you right handed or left handed?
I am actually ambidextrous, but because of the damage in my left arm, technically I am right handed. I guess.
3. What languages do you speak? What do you sound like? Do you have an accent? I speak common, and only common. Hate those multilingual people. I have a medium pitched voice I guess, leaning a bit on the lower side. I have an accent, yea. (Australian mixed with Cockney, and yes I will type in the general stereotypes of those two accents.) Though I'm not sure how to describe it. I mean, just listen to my voice and you'd be able to tell. 4. Do you have any odd mannerisms, annoying habits, or other defining characteristics?
First, in case you haven't noticed, I say uh, um, and uhm a lot. I bite me fingernails. I constantly rub the back of my neck when I'm, like, nervous or somethin'. I also rub my jaw line.
Defining characteristic? Uh, I'm an asshole. I mean, I have a lot of prejudges towards people for almost no good reason, except I just don't like 'em. Unless they're either mouth-breathers, I mean, learn how to breathe through you nose! It's not that difficult! Or from Sunberth. I hate that bloody town.
5. Do you have (or want to get) any tattoos or piercing? Why do you have them (or will get them)?
No, I honestly don't see the point. Waste of hard-earned Mizas.

1. What is your occupation?
I am a caravan guard, and a personal defense trainer. To be short about it.
2. Do you like/dislike your work? Why?
I love my line of work, unless you're an idiot, in which the only reason I'll bear to be around you is because of your coin.
3. If you could be anything you wanted to, what would you be?
Someone who didn't need to work. But who doesn't?
4. What occupation do you admire the most? Why?
I admire the job of. You know, I don't really know. I mean, all jobs are a part of the community and help out.

Thieves, gamblers, lawyers, prostitutes, well no. I take that one back. I don't like the head of organised prostitution. Priests, and slavers.

Probably one that asked too many damn questions and wouldn't shut up. I mean, if I knew my child self know, I'd probably beat the shit out of him.

When I finally saved up enough money to buy myself my Tulwar.

From when my older self came out of a portal and beat the shit out of me. No, that never happened, but, uh, I'd say the one time I screwed someone over in a little friendly bet. It's why I hate gamblers.

We don't really speak anymore, but I would think it's stable.
5. Who was your most influential rolemodel?
A friend of mine, rest him, Robert Eaden. Got me my first guard job.

One that is enough. I mean, I can speak, decently, well. And I know how to do me job.

I think learning is great, but I haven't the time to sit down and learn.

Private personal trainer, that I hired with my own money.

Hands on, but also reading.

I don't really have any. Unless I get to live where I can retire from being a guard. Then as long as I can.

No. They'll die, and you'll lose a piece of yourself in them. Stay away from other people, they'll cause you pain, one way or another.

No, I don't. Why? Because why should you trust people? I mean, we all have hidden agendas, and secret objectives we keep to ourselves, so why trust another person?

I've never really looked at anyone like that, to be honest. I know there is an adjective out there that describes me, just give me a second to think. Asexual and A-ro-man-tic? Yeah, those are the two.

I have never been kissed, or kissed another being. Besides, mouths are- gross, for lack of a better term. And the idea or putting my mouth against someone else's mouth, is the most disgusting thing I can think of.

Know what I just said about kissing being the grossest thing ever? I take it back. Sex takes the cake.

If two people started, like, mashing their lips together right in front of me. I'd get really uncomfortable to be honest.
