weapon and heirloom question

Postby Sissorith on December 20th, 2013, 6:35 pm

the heirloom said nothing over 50 gold but i wanted to know if i can get the rock crusher at 50 as well or is that not allowed? Secondly i wanted to know if all large weapons require two hands and if your a dhani constrictor whos strength is six times as strong as a human, do u still need two hands?

weapon and heirloom question

A rock crusher at exactly 50GM is acceptable (in fact I think I've seen a Jamoura with one before).

Isn't a Dhani constrictor only 2 times as strong as a human? (In human form anyway. According to the lore their Dhani form is 4x as strong). In any case, the lore for rock crusher says "only wielded by the strongest of individuals, and even then only with two hands."

So I'd say, probably yes, just use two hands :)

According to the Price List, steel is the base material so you don't need to worry about modifiers.

Breastplate = 160GM
Arm (Vambrance) = 50 GM
Arm (Rerebrance) = 50 GM

(Whatever those words mean, I assume forearm and upper arm.)

That's for assembling the armor piecemail. You can check the Armor section of the Price List to look at your options and decide what works best for you. Just keep in mind, anything that's not your heirloom will come out of your ledger at character creation :)

Also bear in mind that when turning from one form to another, from human to dhani or vice versa, the human torso and arms are not always the same size. Especially for the constrictor, who are the largest, their dhani form torso and arms are much larger than when they are fully human, I believe about twice as big(though not necessarily twice as long). So a breastplate that fits in human form would be to small in dhani form, and a breastplate in dhani form would be to big when in human form.

I am fairly certain it was Cayenne who told me that awhile back, though I can't recall where exactly. I think when it was mentioned she was speaking specifically about constrictor Dhani, so I am unsure of the size difference for the other two subraces.
Bones is a Constrictor Dhani. He likes to eat meat. He also has some speech problems.

When he speaks, a double s (ss) means a [th] sound, that he cannot say.

A triple s (sss) means just an [s], but it is extended in his speech.
