Hello everyone! I'm Ainyi, and I adore Mizahar, and music. However, there is not a ton of music lore established in the world. Sure, individual cities have some user-submitted song lyrics if you dig enough, but if you look at our main lore list, music lacks a tab of it's own.
So, I'm proposing something, that would require the assistance of lyricists, composers, musicians, and singers alike! I would like to help create an OOC group on Mizahar that would:
-Take song requests for lore. Have a god you want to worship with a psalm? A faction who wants an anthem? I would like this group to be a known resource for those people.
-Have some dedicated lyricists that write either requests submitted or whatever songs suit their fancy
-Have some musicians and singers with recording instruments that would enjoy coming up with melodies and arrangements for those lovely lyrics
-Someone with the ability to add a section to the lore as a musical database, categorized by subject matter
-Someone to either admin a sound cloud or a youtube so that we can provide links in the lore pages to the audio of songs written.
It'd be great to add some beautiful music to the list of other awesome things happening on this site. I'd love to hear other people's ideas on this as well!
Name Ideas!: Because what cool group doesn't have a cool name? I was thinking something like the Disciples of Rhaus, since he's the god of song and storytelling.
A basic sheet to follow for all interested, so we know what we can all do:

Want to write lyrics?: Yes!
Can you sing?: Not Really.
Can you read sheet music?: No
Can you play instruments?: No
Can you compose?: No
Do you want to do administrative stuff?: Yes
What's your desired commitment level?: Medium to Heavy for now. When I go abroad, I think I will have to drop to Medium commitment at most, but I'll still try to write songs for people.
