Isaac Morley General Race: Human Gender: Male Age: 23 Birthday: 26th of Spring, 491 A.V. Birthplace: Zeltiva Appearance: Overall, Isaac looks a waifish young man cursed with a baby face. His build is tall and lean through his legs and torso, with broader shoulders suggesting he could become quite strong, if he applied himself to the task. His jawline is quite angular, his face rounding out as it moves up into the shape of his cheekbones. A prominent, fleshy nose sits between two grey eyes, his mouth wide and thin. His hair is a deep, muddy brown, cut short and uneven, as though he took a knife to it in the dark. A thin chinstrap and moustache adorn his face. His skin is lightly tanned from his days in the sun. Character Personality With an eye for product and a gifted tongue, Isaac is a terror in the market, haggling down prices and up-selling his own wares. However, these gifts don't seem to translate into everyday conversations. While his general demeanour is cheerful and friendly, he finds himself alone on many occasion due to a misplaced comment, or poorly timed attempt at humour. Friends are fast and fleeting, and his tongue turns to lead when in conversations with anything resembling a female. When his temper is set off, he tends to run his mouth off, the consequences be damned. He has a healthy dose of fear and hatred towards the Zith, due to a traumatic first hand experience with the savage race. Character History Isaac was born to a relatively normal home. His parents were loving, if a tad strict on him at times, and he grew up happy and healthy. His father was away much of the time, but when he had time to be home, he'd spend that free time entertaining Isaac and his younger brother with stories of his work, protecting trade goods from all manner of vicious beasts. The stories were always exaggerated, but Isaac loved them all the same. When he was fifteen years of age, Isaac's mother was struck with sickness, and slowly wasted away. Unable to continue leaving his sons at home, his father was forced to bring the two children along on his trips. Isaac was left in charge of his brother, making sure that he kept close to the caravan at all times, and wasn't left behind. During the travels, Isaac began to learn merchant tricks from his father's clients, taught how to haggle and when a deal was too good to be true. On the days they were not travelling, Isaac's father began to teach him the basics of swordplay, so that he might eventually help protect the caravan. However, on a recent, unfortunate trade mission, the caravan was attacked by a trio of Zith. His father barely had a chance to unsheathe his sword, before he was overpowered. The caravan was decimated, and Isaac's father and brother were both taken, to be eaten or worse. With little choice, the merchants and Isaac returned to Zeltiva, the young man clutching his father's sword the entire way. He remained locked in his empty house for many days, mourning the loss of his family. Just before the beginning of the spring season, Isaac sold his family home and many of their possessions, and began to search for work on one of the trade ships. One voyage, to take him somewhere new, away from painful memories. Mental Abilities Language
