Lab 30-G (Glyphing Weaponization)

Below the ground floors of the Citadel and pushed up along the walls with a number of the other Labs within the Gug Andjak is an iron door simply with the designation Lab 30-G being given to it. The door opens rather easily, almost effortlessly and is rather silent in the task as well. When one first enters they will immediately be assaulted by the pungent aroma of fresh parchment and ink, the items scattered about the lab space claimed for Glyphing. There seems to be little organization in this area, a mishmash of chaos in its own little way.

The main lab area is somewhat small, functional for the necessary research to take place within but little else. Extremely powerful warding Glyphs adorn the walls, protecting the outside from the experiments within the lab. Pushed off to the side are a few sparse furnishing, a desk stocked with parchment and ink with a chair at it, a basin tucked nicely in the corner and a tiny bookshelf filled with mostly blank journals for taking notes. The desk rarely see's use and most notes are scattered all over the lab in a poor amount of organization. In the center of the room is a lab table that appears to be wrought from stone, a few rings of highly intricate protective Glyphs located around it at all times. This is where Annalisa Marin, the Wizard of this lab, often can be found in the task of crafting this or that item.

Aside from the door one enters into there are two other metal doors, one to the left, and the other to the right. Should one take the path to the left they will find a room with a three separate cells, straw mattresses upon the floor of each cell and complete with shackles to bind the occupants when necessary. Most often slaves are kept here until needed for particularly gruesome tests; however the odd apprentice might very well be able to claim one for their own. These 'living' quarters are by no means comfortable, but they are the only place other than the Wizard's own quarters and the floor to sleep within the lab.

The path to the right in the main chamber is often locked by the Wizard herself and leads to her personal quarters, the furnishings not much to look at for non-Sahovans but a luxury to most Pulsers. A couple of rough chests that are normally locked and contain her personal affects, a privy, a small table with a couple of benches and a mirror are immediately noticeable. The straw bed in the room is often kept meticulously well kept, and the small closet off to the side is rather sparsely added to.

A simple lab with simple things, but the Pulser Wizard is proud of what she has managed to carve out as a living in a place that favors the undead.
