Xen returns to The Red Room after a long nights rest in his cavern.

He reaches the center of his work place and was quick to organize the sheets on the massage benches. Xen has his hands glide across the smooth, silky surface in front of him and removes the wrinkles from the sheets. When he was finished with the sheets, he goes on to place fresh stones into the small, boiling pool of water—anticipating the day when a client would come in with severe muscle knots. Although, as he prepared the work place for customers, Xen hadn’t changed from the other day; his disposition was marked by misery and grief. One could say he was a dolorous person now: an individual who had lost his solace in love.

Xen found peace at work, in the jungle and when he ate or slept. These were things that would always bring him joy; he was an odd dhani but had simple pleasures and a strange outlook on life. Xen crouched near a hotspring and dips his finger into the water to check its temperature. Of course the waters temperature was perfect but one could never be too cautious. Xen then stands after checking the waters temperature and walks over the one of the vacant massage benches.

He climbs onto the massage bench sitting just a few meters in front of a boiling spring of water and faces the entrance of The Red Room.

Xen’s gaze falls upon the winding passage and stays there for fives chimes before falling elsewhere. He found his gaze returning to the passage and then leaving countless times before he realized that he was awaiting someone, someone’s return. Xen knew who he was waiting for: his beloved Aka and had yet to check her cavern to see if she had actually gone missing—assumptions from the mind were terrible, indeed. Despite this, his instincts were never wrong and never led him astray… entirely. He would go and search for his mate even if he had to scour the entire jungle for her.

Yet he was petrified by the truth...

The ticks turn to chimes as time graces him with its presence and soon Xen found loneliness with him in The Red Room. In all his time in Zinrah: where he had been alone for eight years, it was only during this moment did he truly feel as though he was standing at the pinnacle of solitude.

Another Unhurried Day [Citlali]

Postby Ssafiracitlali on July 30th, 2014, 9:02 am

Citlali moved with the patient undulations of a woman with great pride, the mass of her coils pushing her deep into Zinrah's bowels with her arms swaying, as if to enhance her stride.

She was a Dhani with a purpose. A Dhani with needs that demanded to be fulfilled before she weared thin and retreated to her cave or wherever else might be quiet and peaceful and succumbed to the gnawing desire of rest.

A lazy Dhani was a useless Dhani.

When she came upon the Red Room did she slow herself, tongue emerging immediately to taste the air and attempt to identify the male currently watching her approach. She hissed at him, testing him, before moving in further.

"I would like your services." She was nothing if not to the point, confident and blunt, and she eyed him as if daring him to decline. She'd only come for one thing from this runt. She waited for direction.

oocThis response is severely lacking, I fear. Let me know if you need anything or want anything changed!

There was a sound that grasps Xen’s attention: like someone sliding a soft object across The Red Room’s stone surface. The subtle shhhh the sliding made told him of someone’s approach. Xen sets his gaze upon the entrance of The Red Room, waiting to see who would appear from around the bend. When a large, very large female constrictor slithers into the room, he was quite surprised. Her visage reminded him of the beautiful and powerful trunks of the trees within Falyndar’s domain with dark browns alongside black and a shade of green. A hiss from her made him look upwards and witness the vivid green in her eyes.

Xen places his feet onto the ground and turns to fix the sheets he’d distorted with his body. He turns around the face his client, her presence being much appreciated and welcome due to his desire to escape his sadness. Though, her being in dhani form was going to be quite a task seeing as the massage benches were only made to maintain the big human forms of constrictors. Xen places his right hand behind his back and extends his left arm to the side in a gesture of greeting.

“Welcome to the Red Room. I’am Xen and what masssage will mistresss be having today?” Xen says with his words being a bit inquiring.

Xen removes his right hand from behind him and places his hands together below his chest. The long sleeves of his ash black robe conceal his hands, making it appear as though his clothing had joined together and sealed his hands within them. Xen would ask Ssafiracitlali to change into her human form after he found out what massage she desired and would provide her with a towel to conceal her bare form afterwards. A ladies body and privacy had to be concealed after all! Then for some reason he began to recall all those times he was nearly seduced in the Red Room. Xen couldn’t understand why his mind would manifest those old memories as he has already decided to be a bit a more cautious around constrictors…especially the females.

Another Unhurried Day [Citlali]

Postby Ssafiracitlali on August 1st, 2014, 4:41 am

Citlali eyed the small male in his clothes and human shape, tongue flicking to verify that he was not simply a human. If it wasn't for the cadence of his speech and the sibilance within, she'd have been fooled. However, she was simply dubious. Eventually, she was satisfied in his presence, and she lost the stance that prestaged a lunge.

"What do you offer?" Shehad not attended any session at the Red Room previously. Her coils bunched and relaxed, propelling her in further. He made a request of her to take upon her human form and she... found herself inclined to disobey. Frankly, Citlali was uncomfortable in that limited form, but if it made it easier, she would comply for this male for now. It took thirty ticks or so as her body rearranged its musculature to suit a human form, the experience cathartic and absolutely divine, before she stood there.

Again, the woman regarded this creature as if he was the strangest thing to ever cross her path. He offered her a towel to cover herself? She took it, placed it aside, and disregarded him as worthy of further attention; he offered modesty to the wrong female. She enjoyed herself too much.

"What do you require of me, male?" She asked him now, looking over his work area with more interest than what she looked at him with. It was not something to be taken personally: Citlali found most males unworthy. She would use his name if offered it, but contented with referring to him by what he was.

The constrictors were afflicted by more than this sloth inducing plague but by self-centeredness. Xen had been around them long enough to know how much they loved to boast about themselves. Their desire to bask in the shine of limelight left them blinded by pride. Yet this and their tendency to look down upon him did not bring forth a need to hate them. Xen knew that he too was a victim of this loathsome characteristic of his race and in time felt he would overcome such an obscure concept; though it seems that time has come.

He basks in his newfound freedom granted to him by nihility.

“I can offer you a leg, arm or back massage. If you do not desire any of these things then you may relax in a hotspring and indulge in the quietude of The Red Room.”

The still atmosphere within The Red Room seems to amplify the dullness of his voice. Yet the passion for the work he does could see be seen through his mannerism and speech. The Red Room was a healthy discretion for the time being and would help lure him away from the unhealthy assumptions within his mind.

“I require payment, as all things that toil beneath the sun do. If you are willing to, you may rest here on the bench and I will service you as you wish,” Xen says as he gestures to the massage bench to his left.

Kihlissorayls, Xen would have her to thank; if she hadn’t given him a chance to work in The Red Room, her teachings and establishment would not be residing with his thoughts. What would things have been like if he hadn’t stepped out on that faithful day—if he had not been curious of the new establishment that had opened up on that bright and early morning? Destiny and fate had played their part in his life well by leading him here but their work was not over it seemed

Another Unhurried Day [Citlali]

Postby Ssafiracitlali on August 6th, 2014, 3:40 am

Citali watched him, impassive despite the hint of a smirk that tugged up the corner of her mouth, the tangle of her hair being shaken back as he spoke. He seemed troubled, in his own way, and she could not blame him. He was a small creature in a Nest of large ones, diminutive when the proud Constrictors strode passed and paid him little heed.

Citlali was as arrogant and proud as the rest of them, but she was watching him. What she saw entertained her as much as it intrigued her. She smiled wider. "Your voice iss ssso flat. Don't you enjoy it here?" The Nest, the Red Room, in her presence, or simply in the jungle, the question could have meant any of those things. It might have meant all of them. For that very reason, it bordered on a rhetorical query with a demand, or a dare, for him to respond negatively. It was shrewd and cruel; the answer would be wrong regardless, but it would let her know more about him. As before, she could not speak Common, therefore the question was conveyed in a garbled mimicry of Snaketongue. truly, Citlali loathed him for having her do this, but she let it go in favour of her question. Hopefully he would realise her suffering and let her retain her serpent form, or she would make him. Citlali was willing to make allowances, so long as her will was carried out.

The woman stepped further in, inspecting. Massage table and pool were both looked over with a level of detachment that said the place was unremarkable to her- necessary but unimportant. It simply appealed to the vanity she possessed that a massage would keep her muscles supple and coils loose until they needed to tighten. She looked at him again and cocked him a smirk.

"I did not bring payment, ssso I will be back shortly," Citlali gestured to herself, inclined her head, and turned. Her departure was swift and lacked formality or longing to return. She returned swiftly, also, the journey to her own cave not a long one. In her hand was clutched a handful of gold coins, salvaged from hunting and humanoid prey, that she held out. "Give me all," she hissed. If she was here for one massage, she felt she might as well be here for all varieties, and then she would enjoy the bath afterward. Citlai could not help it; this place appealed to her sense of pride and the vanity that possessed most Constrictors.

"I love Zinrah; my home and I enjoy my time in The Red Room a great deal, ass I get to ssee many individualss come and go," Xen said with his voice carrying a bit more exuberance.

Ssafiracitlali's constant smile made Xen watchful of her, having him wonder if she was planning something. He did not want to suspect her of anything right away, as she hadn't physically done anything to him yet. However, Xen knew the constrictors and their behaviors to a degree; a smile from them usually meant they held some interest in you. He hopes that his clients interests were good and not sinister or of debauchery. Kihlissorayls would have his venomous hide if rumors began to spread about him doing sensual things with clients in her business. That he would have to avoid, as he appreciated having all his bones and flesh unbroken.

" Well, this is probably the first time someone asked for a full body massage ," Xen thought

What a strange client.

The way she behaved it was like she was testing him, searching for some kind of response. Xen was certain that his appearance and demeanor would deter attraction to him unless someone was aware of his magic, abilities or sensed something around him. Xen kept his awareness of Ssafiracitlali hidden and maintains his calm and nigh unexpressive visage. To remain secretive was a habit of his, as a serpent should keep his true powers unseen most of the time.

"You haven't sspoken wordss in common, only thosse of our native-tongue. I asssume you are unable to? Be vocal and tell me what you desire, or prefer.” Xen said in Snake-tongue

This reluctance would not persist—things postponed were tools of procrastination!

Regardless of his fluency within his races language, speaking the snake-tongue while in human form was difficult. Xen opt to shifting into his dhani form: which would make speaking a lot easier. He tosses his robe aside and shifts into his dhani form, allowing his skin to turn into keeled, prickly scales. The rest of his body takes on the serpent’s appearance while his upper body retains a more humanoid form. In thirty ticks, Xen had completed his transformation and was donning his races trademark dhani form. A deep, glistening black like obsidian was what one could describe his scales as. He was extremely visible, almost comically so, in The Red Rooms crimson glow.

Now it was back to business with that full body massage.

This would put his massage skills to the test! He would get to perform a full body massage, which probably would prod his creativity and patience. Ssafiracitlali had his thanks for giving him such an opportunity. However, he had to compose himself or he'd look like a complete deviant; who enjoyed feeling on the skin and scales of others. Xen reaches out with his right hand and allows the gold mizas to roll down his fingers and into his palm. He nods softly to show his thanks and speaks.

“Thank you,” Xen said humbly

Another Unhurried Day [Citlali]

Citlali tilted her head at him, this strange male in the depths of Falyndar, who was definitely not a constrictor as the other males were. Her smile was constant, and predatory, although not in the way he might immediately imagine. She liked to see that it put him on edge.

It was almost a waste of time to reclaim her Dhani form, but she really required it to actually speak. Snake-tongue as a human simply ruined the majesty of the language, and she had nothing to work with to even begin speaking Common. "If thisss form provesss a problem, I will not require a leg massssage. Obviousssly, I have no legsss." Her tone was bitten with more amusement than required, as if teasing him. "But I will ssstill pay you for it, sssince you have to deal with thisss form." The generosity may have been uncommon, however Citlali was often the one to do something unexpected. She hungered for the responses gleaned.

This little Dhani would prove valuable, for as long as she had him.

"You have a lovely colour," she offered in compliment, slithering towards his bench. Wisely, Citlali realised she could not lay herself upon it fully, so she rested her upper body upon it, from where her waist began and up. With his gratitude, she chuckled, low and deep in her throat. "Thank you, also," she responded.

Now, she waited. He could start at his leisure.

“A sense of humor, I see,” Xen said with a small grin.

Xen was starting to think he had one of those odd ball constrictors: the type that he couldn’t come to understand straightaway. No, he was certain he had a weird customer, whose feelings and intentions he could describe as kittenish and sagacious. Xen narrow’s his eyes in suspicion, as though saying “ I’m watching you ,” he was only partially aware of Ssafiracitlali’s teasing; her responses feeling a bit jocose to him. Xen watches as his client slithers her large form onto the massage bench and listens to the air escaping from its body as Ssafiracitlali rests her mass upon it.

“Thank you; your scales are quite beautiful also, they remind me of the jungle canopy with its colors of dark brown and green.” Xen said mannerly

Xen slithers closer to Ssafiracitlali and places both of his hands onto her lower back. He then parts them and positions his right hand on the right side of Ssafiracitlali’s back while he places his left hand on the other side. Xen proceeds to slowly move his hands upwards and uses the soft bottom of his palms to massage his client during this smooth motion. He would first scan the surface of his client’s skin for knots before checking the denser and much muscular flesh below.

Xen’s fingers felt zero resistance during their journey up Ssafiracitlali’s back; her muscles were supple and he could feel that they were healthy. When Xen reaches the shoulder blades, it was another story. Tissue around the shoulder blades was different from the tissue on the back. He could apply a firm amount of pressure on the back without worrying about bone and sensitive joints. However, on the shoulders he had to be careful, as he learned that sore shoulders weren’t particularly enjoyable and when squeezed caused pain for those unlucky enough to possess them. Xen was glad that this wasn’t the case but caution never hurts those willing to wield it.

He pauses before moving both his palms in a counter-clockwise motion. He softly presses down while allowing the strength of his upper body to fall upon Ssafiracitlali to a small degree. Xen was certain that his technique would not bother a constrictor of his client’s size—the physical strength he possessed would not contest with that of constrictors. Xen began his slow descent down his clients back after two chimes of shoulder massaging. He switches motions and swirls his palms clockwise. There were not knots that he could feel, yet this should not be surprising, since he was still trying to grasp an understanding of massage.

Learning about the body would definitely help me here, ” Xen thought with assurance.

Another Unhurried Day [Citlali]

Postby Ssafiracitlali on August 21st, 2014, 6:31 pm

The male earned a low hiss, one of agreement and pleasure at his compliment. She was proud of her colourations: they assisted in her stalking endeavors.

She lay still beneath him as his hands worked over her muscles, discomfort briefly flaring when he began to work at her shoulders. Citlali didn't desire to let a sound of complaint be released, but she still grunted. It was not her first instinct to allow someone to relax as she was touched, and she desired to coil around the male.

Such things were what a snakeling would do. Citlali was no snakeling. She refused herself the comfort of coiling around this male and squeezing, as he was simply doing his job and had no need to be strangled. This was why she'd come: to be massaged.

It took focus to turn away from her discomfort and to relax again, returning to silent pleasure as he massaged. She did not expect him to work on her tail, despite paying for her legs. There was a lot of tail to be worked on. Even extending kindness so far as to let him take his time, she expected him to not be so adventurous.

Citlali simply favoured the idea of him being pleased enough with her generosity that he'd someday seek her out on his own. The promise of that allowed her to allow him all the time he needed to learn the musculature of her Dhani self. In silence, she basked in the attention.
