- Appearance -

Standing around about 5'3", Elizabeth is neither the tallest or shortest person you'll meet. Her skin is somewhat pale and sleek, however, underneath her armour are a few scars from mishaps of the past. Elizabeth likes to keep the blonde hair in a short bob for practicality. Her pale blue eyes are sharp with an unintentional unimpressed stare to them.

Elizabeth is almost always seen in her armour. It's like her second skin, and with out it she feels exposed and vulnerable. Her armour shines from constant polishing during her spare time. The only piece that doesn't shine is her dyed leather breastplate, which is white. Behind her is a short white cloak that hides a backpack from time-to-time, depending if she needs to carry things. On each side of Elizabeth's hip are holstered weapons, on the left is her beloved estoc and on the right is a parry dagger.

On the rare occasions Elizabeth does leave home without her armour, she wears a long white dress that reaches past her knees, and sandals on her feet. Usually when she is dressed like this, she doesn't carry her estoc. However, she'll carry her parry dagger which is tucked away somewhere on her, just in case if emergency.

- Character Concept -

Elizabeth Welkins is a woman who values speed, efficiency and hard work. She's usually calm and collected, only been thrown off from time to time by certain things. She's generally passive but polite to others, having to feelings of passion for another individual. At times, others misinterpret her emotions for unfriendly ones. This mainly happens because of here eyes. Elizabeth's eyes naturally have a somewhat "stand off-ish" gaze to them. Because of the amount of times her emotions have been misinterpreted, she now gives little to no care about it.

Elizabeth is quite agile with her blade and quick on her feet, and with her eyes she constantly scrutinise her opposition for flaw or weaknesses. However, she only draws her sword as a mean of defence. Drawing it to protect herself or others, and at times when no one is watching to cut vegetables.

Asides from working hard, Elizabeth likes to induce herself in some dancing. This usually happen during the thick of the night, when the activity of others is notably lower. The flowing movements of her body, along with momentum feels relaxing to her. The flowing movement overtime have worked its way to Elizabeth's blade, transforming the blade to not only be a weapon, but a partner.

Early Childhood

Elizabeth was born in Syliras by her mother Henrietta, and fathered by Adrian. At the time, Adrian was a mercenary and Henrietta was a nurse at the local clinic.

 

Age 7

During this time, Elizabeth had for her father's old estoc. It was long and slender unlike most blades Elizabeth had seen. Adrian noticed her Fascination and began to teach her how to hold the weapon.

Ever since Elizabeth held her fathers old estoc, she had continued practising every time she could. She had also help her mother at the clinic from time to time as an assistant nurse, she didn't do anything major, only lift the spirits of the injured and the ill. Also during this time, Elizabeth found dancing quite fun.

Adrian had to retire from mercenary work due to a stabbing injury, forcing him to take up a new job being a store clerk. Since he is home more often than before, he though he would begin to discipline Elizabeth further with her favourite weapon. He hopes that one day that she would succeed him.

With each training, Elizabeth grew more and more focused. Her dance slowly melded together with her blade, forming a sort of waltz.

During this age, Elizabeth though it would be nice to move out of home to get out of her parents hair, because during this time her family was having a bit of financial difficulties. Her mother and father were reluctant about it, but Elizabeth proved a valid point and so they agreed. As a departing gift, Adrian gave Elizabeth a Cold Steel Estoc. Elizabeth was quite uneasy about taking it as he could sell it for the money, but Adrian insisted she take it. so she did.

Using the money she had, Elizabeth took a ship to Zeltiva where she now resides. It is there she began working as a mercenary.
