Shijara watched the meat disappear and felt his tongue flick across her fingers, an unsure laugh rising. She shot him a look between amused and mischievous. He was toying with her. Her fingers came back unscathed, which was all she asked for. The night seemed peaceful, slow even. A deep breath, fading into a cool Spring breeze. Their dying fire flickered, no longer being fed to life. Shijara was carefully trying to pull free another piece of meat, looking down and slipping it into her own mouth. The taste exploded in her mouth, the texture interesting. It was fluffy, but... perhaps could have been cooked a little longer. Or was she imagining that? Shijara had never cooked fish before and Ty didn't have any complaints.
When she lifted her chin, the Svefra was closing the distance between them, leaning forward. His voice had lowered, taken on a different feeling. So, he was going to let her bite him? She felt herself smile, her floating mind trying to conjure something witty to say, but she was silenced by lips pressing against hers. This was not the first time Shijara had kissed the male, the first experience having been both a fun game and a reality check. Sometime during the kiss, Ty had raised a hands to run along her face and black haired woman had set down the food. He pulled back, and lifted the wine.
Shi chuckled at his joke, nudging him in the arm as she took the bottle. "I got a choice?" Shi stuck her tongue out childishly and winked, raising the drink to her lips. One smooth sip. Flavor exploded inside her mouth and she lifted the alcohol to get a good look at it. This was good. Why had she never drank more in Eyktol?
"Here." The light headed feeling from the accidental participation in poppers made everything feel warmer. Her sense felt heightened but her brain felt muddled. All she could do was... feel. "Lemme try." Shijara really had no idea what she was talking about. Ty had kissed her, accidentally or not. Her thought process was somewhere along that line. She wanted to be the one who was suave. She felt confident, or maybe confused. Something like that.
The boat rocked slightly from the waves, a brief second of discomfort breaking through her drugged state, making the Chaktawe hold her breath. She grabbed Ty's hand and slowly lowered it from her face. Once she had calmed herself, she looked up at Ty's head. "I wanna..." Wiping her hands on her shorts, Shijara lifted them to feel Ty's hair. Blonde hair was still something of an abmornality to the Chaktawe, as strange as that sounded. Before coming to Riverfall, the only real way to get light locks was to have it dyed, dark features reigning supreme in the desert.
Shi's fingers ran through his hair, along his scalp. The texture was surprisingly soft and she smiled. Had she touched his hair in their first encounter? While she had a good memory, that part was fuzzy. After recognizing the pod tattoo and needing to avoid Kel -- something that wouldn't be avoided for awhile --Shijara had focused only on rushing off. But under circumstances, Shi was fascinated by the little things.
"Who are your friends?" Shi had only ever seen Ty with Kel, and the thought popped into the open as she removed her hands from his blonde hair and down his chest. She felt the muscle underneath her fingertips, the firmness of his skin. Her fingers trailed downward, stopping at his naval and back up again.
She leaned forward as her hands ran along his arms, angling her face to kiss his cheek. To test the waters, so to speak. Her mind swirled under the bright stars, rising and falling with the waters. All she had to do was not think about the vastness underneath them. All she had to do was focus on Ty.
