On behalf of those that fled Sunberth:

The waters were dark as they closed into the docks, the skies thick and over cast - blotting out most of the starlight that would have been otherwise granted. The gulls had fallen silent, the winds still snapping from the events at the mouth of the bay some days previous. But around her, did the few sailors continue to guide them on through the seas and onwards to the shore. For the most part, Fallon kept to herself - nursing her wounds and recovering from the last fight she hoped to have in a while. Fingers gave a small press against her injuries as she heaved herself through the deck, catching the expressions of the few ex-Scars members, her family, that escaped with her.

Worn faces, tired faces, but faces that were slowly peeling themselves free from the previous torments that ruled them all. They all carried their own hurts, their own internal and external scars that would forever sit as a memory. Damming and crippling should they hold themselves to it. But, it was to be a fresh start for them all, an escape from what had haunted them and poisoned them all previously. And with that the dread of them all going their separate ways met her. Not all of them of course, she took some comfort in that as she hitched her few loads up onto her back further - blades strapped in, armour stored away , there was no immediate need to have it here was there now?

As the vessel rocked, the hull groaning as the docks closed ever inwards did Fallon begin her ever descent upwards to the deck, eyes forwards as she tried to peel back that pained expression into the one who she really was - ex-leader, scholar, warrior, a survivor, a fighter and an attempted bringer of change. Inhaling, she took another forced step forward and out into the open air.

"Our new chance, our new start," she repeated to herself as she rose up further. The whistle call sounded, the scraping of wood as the sails were drawn in and their entrance was guaranteed. They were safe, she told herself once more as she stayed mainly out of the crews way. The oars gave a tentative paddle at the water as it came up against the pier, the poor buildings just beyond her sight now and the Old Quarter now greeting her gaze. She stared up to the stone, the worn and weathered architecture greeting her. The ropes were thrown, the bay crew pulling it down and tying the vessel off. The moorings secured, she looked down now only to her coiled fist - trembling with its own determination. The gangplank was struck down upon the shore, and with a turn of a head she only mumbled to herself now, "Our new beginning, our new chapter. We will grow. We will live and we will survive. We will. We will. We will..."

Fallon is a Master of Intimidation, "At this level, a Master intimidator often unconsciously intimidates their target unless the intimidator monitors their stance, tone, and actions to prevent this. Master intimidators will nearly always have a reputation that precedes them unless they have taken special care to prevent it."

1st of Spring, 515 A.V.

The city of Zeltiva grew closer and soon the sounds of the city were right against their ship as her family pulled closer. Her mother and father quickly readied for port, and Navyri stood at the front of the ship, one hand gripping the ropes, the other pushing back her hair as it whipped wildly around her. Navyri scanned the elaborate docks, a bubble of excitement building up in her stomach.

What trouble can I get into? She smiled, climbing back on board and grinning from ear to ear when they were all settled. Her bag lounged against some barrels and she quickly snatched it from its spot.

"I'm going, now." Navyri announced, her walk powerful and not in the least bit tentative. She was nearly bounding onto the dock when her father's hand snatched at her arm.

"Ay, you say no goodbye to your mother or me?" The proud Eypharian quirked an eyebrow expectantly, his dark eyes pouring into her blue ones.

"Of course, Da." Navyri responded in Arumenic, and watched as the sound pleased her father's ears. She kissed him quickly on his cheek, giving a mischievous wink before embracing her mother who was slowly approaching. She rushed her goodbyes before they could stop her and leaped from their embraces and onto Zeltivan soil.

And so it began.
