Hello everyone! Just like Boo, I'm also joining Lhavit at the start of the new season. I'm also returning from a long absence (some of you might even recognize me, as I've been lurking on the chat channel for weeks) but I'm really excited to get to meet people and start some threads!

And Thomas, I'd be interested in learning Auristics so if you need PCs to teach, message me and we can plan stuff out together.

ANNOUNCEMENT

Don't forget that today is the last day of the season! That means...

Put down any placeholders you might need for Winter 515 AV! Any posted today will be considered grandfathered in tomorrow. Otherwise, the season will pass you by.
Today is the last day for the essay contest, found in the Crystal Sky! If you wanted to participate, submit your essay today. The polls will be going up bright and early tomorrow morning, PST.
Get your seasonal wage and XP threads finished! Remember, wage threads are your PC actually doing the job and XP threads are the lifestyle of the job but not the job itself. Each one should be a minimum of 2.5k!

Good luck and happy writing everyone! I can't wait to see what next season brings.

WELCOME TO SPRING 516 AV!

Here are the main events. For those of you who haven't seen it yet, the Spring plot has been announced. I encourage you to join in, as there is something for everyone! Likewise, the polls are now open for the essay contest so please cast your votes before the 6th! For all of those who participated, thank you so much. I loved every single essay I read!

Impromptu addition: all essays submitted will have their own special place in the Atlas. That way everyone is a winner. I cannot express my gratitude enough. The victor of the popular vote will receive a special item relevant to the spring quest. The runner up will receive said item if the first place winner declines participation in the quest and so on and so forth, ad infinitum.

Please don't forget to complete your grandfathered job threads! To my graders, anyone who jumps in and helps whittle down the queue gets a cookie. Seriously.

Howdy folks!

Somehow it didn't occur to me to post here earlier but now that I'm procrastinating, of course it's in my head now. :lol:

I find myself returning around quite a hiatus AND in a new city so I've got a lot of adjusting to do. Most importantly, I need wonderful individuals who might be willing to deal with a cranky Inarta who I imagine will end up talking to herself a lot in Nari and looking at people like she'd like to eat them. You never know though! Azira might decide to be nice... :paranoid:

I don't know what I'm doing about Azira's job situation yet (although I am in the process of sorting it with Ely) so it's something that will have to be worked around for the moment. I owe Batbrain at least one thread for reasons but otherwise I'm a guy totally without commitments, which isn't something that I like.

Working in Common would be great and I can always exchange Nari for it although it'd probably take some doing to get Azira to cooperate. I'd quite like the chance for her to cause a bit of trouble, which might be easily achieved if anyone attempts to pat her on the head or treats her like a child (she's 4' 8", some PCs do things that are a little... rash). It will probably be likely for her to seek some sort of magical aid later in the season thanks to Spring plot related things as well.

Az is pretty versatile and interesting, although I am her writer so I might be a tad biased.

Don't take my word for it though! Take a look at her CS, shoot me a PM if you like what you see and let us write!
