"Can I get a ring?" Ferrin asked simply, he blushed, knowing full well what the occasion was for. He's been with Jade for quite some time; sometimes, Ferrin wondered if this was too early, or maybe too late. He doesn't recall when a couple usually engages/marries. Ferrin stood waiting for the blacksmith at the Ironworks. He was directed here by another squire, of course, why haven't Ferrin visited this place before? Perhaps Ferrin hadn't paid much mind to needed to visit the Ironworks.
Ferrin also hadn't paid much mind to the appearance of Roz. Now, Ferrin notices the man, with whatever glimpses of light that entered the room. He bore grey skin; with silvery hued veins. It was interesting, and odd to look at. Ferrin wondered what kind of being this man was, he wasn't human. Though, he could probably pass as human.
"You looking for a ring?" The grey tinted man asked, as he looked up and wiped sweat from his forehead, and used a cloth to dry up his face. The Isur was built, strong and muscled. Roz looked like he had more muscles than Ferrin, when Ferrin compared himself to the Isure, he felt discouraged almost; weak even. He didn't show any of his shock directly, he kept a bland expression, simple, but deep down, he felt feeble.
"Um, yes?" Ferrin replied, blinking some, and looking at Roz.
"The occasion?" The Isur asked Ferrin with content glares. "Also, if you're wanting to know what I am; I'm an Izurian, the names Roz." He said gently, showing Ferrin a grey hand with calloused fingers and such around his hand.
Ferrin nodded, and shook the Isur's hand as well. He felt warm, as if he were just working near a furnace all day or something.
"Good to meet you; I'm Ferrin." The Squire replied smiling weakly at the man. He wasn't good for small talk; mostly quiet.
"Good, now what's the ring for?" The Isur repeated calmly, releasing the grip of Ferrin's hold.
"Engagement."
