The Season of Spring, 91st Day, 511 AV. Very Early Morning.
The silver moon showed bright in the early morning sky. A dingy horned owl perched on a window to look at it longingly. As he did so his eyes watered with the weight of his memories. How many nights had he stared at that same moon during his upbringing? How many nights had he dreamed of escape? And now here he was in one of the largest cities he'd ever seen and quickly befriending a wizard no less. It was all too much for an owl to take for one day's events so he had decided to go on a midnight stroll. It had seemed like an eternity since he'd taken his human form and now he had enough nourishment, thanks to Marc, that he had the energy to do so. As well, Alec needed to make sure some belongings he'd carried into Syliras were still tucked away out of sight.
The large owl swooped down several hallways until it found an empty one with a high ceiling. Flapping his wings he made his way close to the ceiling careful not to hit his head. He was relieved to see his small bundle of clothes and money pouch still remained untouched. Alec tugged at the bundle and flew it to the ground of the empty hallway.
Fluttering to the ground the owl began to glow and a swirl of lights engulfed him. His form stretched and grew tall. When the lights faded away a naked young man with olive toned skin and curly dark hair took the owl's place. Alec took a moment to stretch in his new form, he was scrawny at 5'8" high but with not much more that 120 pounds on him. Alec's slightly malnourished form knelt down and slipped on some simple cloth clothes.
