Work Study Program
What is Work Study?
Those interested in receiving a discount can apply for something called Work Study. The individual applying treats the program as part-time job, posting at least one required thread. The work study student can receive up to 50% off their tuition with the completion of four work study threads. A native bonus can stack, but only up to 50%.
What is a "native bonus" again?
Those who roleplay through at least one year of school under the age of sixteen get a 25% off discount for their classes for being a native-born student.
How many threads do I need?
1 thread - 15% off 2 threads - 25% off 3 threads - 40% off 4 threads - 50% off What does a person do during these threads?
Those doing Work Study are performing a function for the Academy. This can be anything from janitorial to administrative. Upon registering for Work Study, you will be able to specify what sort of tasks your character are eligible to perform. List your skills in the form above, such as organization or leadership.
How do I pay?
Upon registration, remove the initial fee from your character's ledger, then apply Work Study discount at the end of the season. If this is not possible please contact a moderator to prevent CS intervention.
