Gauge Barlow Appearance Race: Human Gender: Male Age: 24 Birthday: 3, Summer, 489 AV. Birthplace: Sunberth Appearance: Gauge stands at 5'9 and weighs roughly 150lbs and has many tattoos located on his chest, neck, and arms. He has grey eyes, dirty blond hair, sharp facial features and is in good shape. Gauge would be strikingly handsome if it wasn't for the dirt on his face and the lack of care he puts into his appearance. He usually dresses in a bloodstained muscle shirt, worn pants and black leather combat boots. Character Concept Gauge is a violent and impulsive individual, only caring about his own needs. He has a renegade "charm" that usually lures in people his age and opens them to his abusive nature if they aren't careful. Gauge is a sociopath. He takes what he wants when the opportunity arises and isn't afraid to take it by force, he actually prefers it that way. Having absolutely no respect for life or the feelings of others he lives in the moment and never passes up golden opportunities. Loving the dangerous life, he takes part in drunken brawls or any form of violence that allows him to cheat and fight dirty. Cheap ale and equally cheap women fill up most of his pastimes. Character History Gauge was born in the slums of Sunberth to an artistic family, his father was a painter and his mother a musician. At the age of 6 his parents where victims of random violence... The assailants broke into there home hoping to find valuables, but it quickly turned unto a brutal scene of violence that involved the rape of his mother,the ghastly stabbing of his father and the savage beatings to Gauge. His parents didnt survive but Gauge was left broken and alone, forced to scavenge from the filth the city had to offer him. Growing up on the streets he fell into a world of violence and survival, changing him into a poster-child Juvenal delinquent. He spent his youth fighting other children, stealing, and using drugs. At the age of 17 he joined up with a group of bandits that would ambush and kill travelers on there journey to Sunberth, taking anything that may be of worth from there corpses. That only lasted a couple years due to the group becoming careless and setting up to close to Syliras, where the patrolling guards found and killed off most of the group. Currently Gauge takes jobs from some of the local gangs that usually involves roughing up or killing someone that owes money.
