Rorick Set’ani Physical Information -Human -Born Fall, 27th, 489 AV -Hometown: Sunberth -Age 23 -Male Physical Description -Rorick stands at 5’7 feet tall, his slim frame hiding a compact, fit physique, leaving a deceptively nonthreatening figure. His blonde hair is left in shaggy and unattended, hiding a pair of bright inquisitive blue eyes. Character Concept -Appearance Rorick tends to wear simple and utilitarian clothing, namely a worn jacket, tunic and patched breaches. Flaws -Perhaps Rorick’s greatest flaw is his inability to ignore those in need, often causing him to insert himself in situations he does not belong in, situations which usually end bloodshed. Personality -Rorick has inherent drive to help people, be they criminal or noble in demeanor or appearance. He is methodical by nature, and of keen intellect, preferring to think things out rather than act on emotion alone, the exception being when someone’s personal freedoms are being suppressed, causing him to lash out, often violent, against the aggressors. Ethics -Rorick lives for the chance to help people. In everything he spies he sees an opportunity for good, whether it’s setting a broken bone or making an example of a threating gang member. Rorick is by and by one the rarest people in Sunberth, a person who actually cares about the common man more than monetary gain. He, like his father was, is constantly at odds with the idea of becoming like Doctor Petricious. Likes -Rorick's true joy is in helping the community. He is a deeply caring soul not above lending a hand to those who need it, and it provides him great personal satisfaction in making an impact in someone’s life. Dislikes -Those who would subvert people for personal gain deeply sicken Rorick, meaning he despises the methods of all of the major factions in Sunberth. However, his hatred towards the gangs does not interfere with his code of healing, as any and all are welcome in his doors. Character History -Rorick Set’ani was raised by a single father among the poor masses of Sunberth, another unwashed child in a cruel sea of poverty. Raised as a surgeon’s son in his father’s clinic, Rorick was a quick study and became determined to aid his farther heal the sick and broken people of Sunberth. By the age of fifteen, Rorick became extremely well versed the subjects of medicine, herbalism and anatomy, deluded with the grandiose ideal of applying to one the academies to hone his craft. However, the fates are not kind to a bright eyed child with large dreams, and tragedy struck, leaving him an orphan in a city where one wrong step meant death. At the age of seventeen, Rorick inherited his apartment and set out to offer his services to whomever may be in need.
