Character Sheet

I'm still working on my character sheet, and I need some help with it.

Can somebody please give me the code format to list my skills starting package nice and proper? Thank you.

Also, I was wondering if I could do my characters history with a series of Flashback threads, starting from birth and into present day. Is this acceptable, and would I be able to learn extra skill points this way?

Also, can somebody explain the starting package, how skill points work, and how one upgrades a skill for me? Thank you very much.

BBC Code List and Character Sheet Templates

1) As long as you make it clear which skills are Racial Bonus, which are from the Starting Package and which have been won from threads, you can code it any way you want, so there isn't a specific code for your skill list. :)

2) You could do a general outline of your history and flesh it out with flashbacks. I'm not sure if the history is actually required, but I've seen mods asking for it, so I guess it's at least helpful to have it.

3) What exactly about the starting package you need help with? As for the skills:
You have 50 skill points that you can put on any skill or magic you want. The minimum for starting skills is 5 points and the max, 30 points. Besides those 50, you have the racial bonus. In your case, since you're a mixed blood, you can put 10 points in any skill you want (it has to be on a single one, though, and the total of points on that skill still can't go over 30).
You gain skills by roleplaying them in threads. If you fight someone with a dagger, you would get skills for Weapon: Dagger. They have to be awarded by a ST, though, before you can add them to you CS.

EDIT: Character Sheet Q&A This thread is also very helpful. :)

I second everything Syveris said.

For a couple extra details: the BBC code you probably want for your skills is the {table} tags, so look for that in the BBC code list.

When you finish a thread, you turn it in to be graded. Most cities nowadays have a grading and moderation request thread for that very purpose :)

Thank you all for your help. I just have to flesh out my character more before I complete the CS.

So am I correct in saying that we can't do Flashbacks right off the bat? If I use my starting packaging skill points and have my CS approved, then can I do flashbacks to flesh out my character, and learn skill points and lores? I want to do some flashbacks before I start playing in present day, to earn some more skill points and really get to know my character. Is this acceptable?

Yes you can do flashbacks to flesh out skill points and lores.
