Didn't realize I didn't quite get this in the Q&A forum
So I am perusing the wikia...which I am surprisingly inept at..ok not really surprisingly as I am inept at many things. Anywho I had originally been looking trying to find some answers in regards to the Akalak dual nature and in my ADHD mind I read something about the Cheva mark and ended up finding that and getting another question. So rather then spam here is both
.
1. Cheva mark. When I was reading up on this it looks to me that this isn't really a gnosis but is universal. Am I correct in this? That a couple who truly marry (and I assume this is more then just a frilly ceremony) and truly commit their lives together for the long haul then this happens. But unlike the gnosis marking it is not something that only someone who specially receives the attention of the goddess, but anyone who makes a life time commitment?
A. If so, then what happens when someone who has had multiple wives. Not as in the Drykas who practice polygamy but such as someone who has had a wife. got the Cheva mark, wife dies and he recieves a Lucan mark..then remarries..does the Lucan mark disappear with the new Cheva marking, or is it always there ?
B. If a player wants their character to marry woudl they have to go through the same process to get a gnosis, since it says that "n fact, she must be present for marks to happen. Seen or unseen, it is simply her choice. "
2. Akalak Dual nature
Ok so I have been looking at it as literally two people in the same body. The struggle I have been looking at as people who have to share something very important (in this case extreme since its a body)
Unlike multiple personality disorder the personalities in an Akalak are very aware of each other, and aware of the others doings...thus this is why when an Akalak learns how to do a spin-kick he can do it no matter which personality is in control.
The question I have is more within the head type. Do personalities communicate with each other inside their own head. Can say the dark personality convince the Light personality to do something that the Light didn't really agree with. A verrrrrry broad example is say the Light personality is in control and is cooking spaghetti for dinner (I know horrible dish for someone so conscious of taking care of their bodies) but the dark personality is hankering for some fish. Would the dark be able to talk the light into changing dinner options?
I guess where I am asking is how much influence do the two sides have over the other, would the dark always have to wait to do something he wants to do until he is in firm control of the body,. or is it kind of ...like a partnership within the head..rule by committee rather then by one ...
