Pig. That's what she'd said, Pig. Been a while since I had a big, fat pig. Didn't look like no pig though. Stupid woman. This thing was a human, fat like a pig, true, but human all the same. Sweaty and smelly and dumb. He'd run off through the dark when the woman started shouting at him. He'd run for a while at least, now he hardly walked, huffing and wheasing like a sick thing. Don't smell sick though.
Rend crawled closer to the edge of the roof, it's old planks groaning under her as she fixed her eyes on the pudgy little man. Slowly she eased herself off and onto the ground, snow crunching under her bare feet.
Nasty cold, do this quick then back to the nest. Warmer there.
She padded forwards, snow crunching with each step. As she drew within a meter or so she stood up, ready to pounce. The man heard something, or simply felt the predators gaze. Even after all this time human's still had that prey's instinct.
"'Ey, who're you? what the..? What are ya?"
Get close, past guard, easy kill
Rend rolled her shoulders slowly, letting the dim light of the evening play off her body. She started to step forward, one slow, languid step at a time.
"Me? Am jus' cold girrl, looking to get warrm"
The man backed up a little, caution warred with desire in his head as she drew closer. Her hand touched upon his arm and she moved in closer, her body pressed against his.
"Tha's... Tha's enough now.. away wit' ya"
Rend moved her body against his, rising up onto her toes till the soft fur of her face caressed his rough shaven cheek before speaking in little more than a whisper.
"No.. I want more"
And then she took it. Her teeth bit down into his neck and tore deep. Hot blood flooded into her mouth. Feebly the man tried to push her away but it was far too late for that. Claws sank into skin, fat and muscle to hold onto her kill until he staggered backwards and fell. His skin turning pale quickly in the cold.
Rend crawled along the floor next to him before plunging her head into the bloody snow beside him to snap up a mouthful and clean her face. The kill was good. She pulled her knife from it's sheath and started to look over his body to choose the best bits to carve off and take home.
