Can a ghost possess any living creature?

Hello, A new ghost here

I was wondering about the possession skill that ghosts have.

Are humanoids the only thing valid for possession, or are other creatures such as animals or even animated beings?

As quoted from here, "Possession is an ability of ghosts and possibly other ethereal undead. It allows them to enter the body of a living creature, overriding its controller and taking over for a while." So I assume this means you can possess anything as long as it is alive.

And remember than you can try, doesn't mean you will always succeed. Though at Master, you'll be able to almost always virtually succeed save against Expert or Master Spiritism.

I have, on other characters in the past, had them do desperate things to "emphasize" their awareness of their own bodies to thwart possession attempts, and had those techniques be favorably received by the mods. Like throwing themselves in a pool of water for the shock of sudden cold to make them "feel" their body to a sudden greater degree.

Of course, the downside was that this ghost then followed me around town, laughing at me as I repeatedly threw myself in water whenever it drew near. :rolleyes:
