In the meantime however I have a quick question, in my backstory I'm considering leaving a Pavilion for another one. How common is it for Drykas to switch Pavilions and what kind of reasons are deemed culturally acceptable?

Welcome to the Master Race! While the Codex is a work in progress, it contains a great deal of helpful information including PC creation guidelines. The Codex has been assembled with knowledge provided by the entire group of players so I'm sure it will be a great help.

Switching is not an irregular phenomenon but it is mostly done for reasons associated with arranged marriages. Ankals could be open to a 'trade' if they feel a need to acquire a specific skill into their pavilion but again, this is generally done by marriage. I could probably be of more assistance if you gave me more specifics. Send me a PM with more detail regarding what you want the history to look like and any other character goals.

Ferem's Fortunes has been updated. The Race Relations page in the Codex is done. I am just waiting for final approval before it gets posted. With it being Father's Day weekend, I am being a little indulgent (sorry questers) and knocking out some development projects that have been sitting in my workspace for while. Wow so much development and it is all splendid! You are doing a great job Prophet.

I do have a question though.. Is there any Clan Relations? I understand that they all need one another. However, is there any tension between Clans, competition, animosity, is two clans more "friends" then they are with other clans? Just curious.

This weekend has been busy for me, my daughter was born two days before Fathers Day so it has been packed full of celebrations! Anyway, Happy Fathers Day to all the Daddy's out there, hope your day is filled with love !

There are no "clan relations". Everyone is Drykas. If there is tension or a strong bond, it will be on an individual basis which you are more than free to role play.

I have an example spread out through several threads involving a single pavilion from a different clan that has a grudge against Azmere.

While there will always be posturing and the like, the Drykas love and respect one another ad a whole.

Just out of curiousity but does a Drykas remain in their Pavilion when they join the Watch? Or are there special tents/living arrangements? Do they do like long term shifts consisting of 30 day patrols where they move a certain distance away from the Run or the city itself? Or is it more like a call to action goes out and the members respond?

These are excellent questions and I have been reworking and tinkering with a location page for the Watch for months. There are many intricate details that I'm always going back and messing with them. I hope to have this done soon but who knows, really.

That being said, you are a ways off from joining the Watch because their minimum requirements are competency in riding, webbing and a weapon. Also, looking at the skills on your CS, make sure you are adhering to the character creation guidelines listed in the Codex. If you want to discuss this further, I'd be happy to entertain the conversation in PMs. I'm fairly certain that by the time you reach the necessary skills to apply I will have the new location page finished.
