Summer of 32nd.
It was getting warmer by the day, and today; it wasn't so muggy out. The crisp cool winds brushed through the clothing that Ferrin doned himself in this morning. Synas rays of bright gleaming light shown all about Syliras and the rest of Mizahar. Ferrin had his sword for protection and that was it weapon wise. Ser Xervos had explained to Ferrin that he didn't need his armor for prayers. So, he went along with it and had seemed it fit to just brandish his blade for now. Nothing wrong would happen, right? So what will go wrong...
"Your ready? Are you?" It was Ser Xervos, his tone was precarious. Though, Ferrin figured that the older man was getting nervous. The Knight wore armor and his weapons.
"Yes, it's my first day of doing this you know. What am I supposed to do really? I've never prayed before..." Ferrin said awkwardly.
"Don't be nervous." Cooed Ser Xervos with a polite smile. "I'll walk you through the process of praying Ferrin. Your father never showed you how?" He asked wearily. The two rounded a corner, Ferrin bumped into a lady and quickly stated his apology, the woman just walked on babbling about him being a bafoon and to watch where he was walking. Though, the woman obviously turned around the corner and Ferrin was glad that he couldn't hear her anymore.
"Alright, thank you Ser Xervos." Responded Ferrin politely. "Hey, is that it?" Asked Ferrin curiously pointing over at the building like an excited child.
"Yep, I believe so. The Temple of All Gods. Denizens from the Dyres family. They've been kind enough to introduce the Temple for the citizens of Syliras." Replied Ser Xervos.
Ferrin nodded and understood. Though, he was still quite unsure of the praying thing. He didn't know how to begin it or even how to end it. Even though, his patron just told him that he'll learn how to do it. "No... My father didn't teach me."
"What?" Asked Ser Xervos.
"He didn't teach me how to pray..." Ferrin admitted weakly. The squire looked down at the ground. Watching his feet Tao against the weathered stone.
"It's alright. We're here now, and I'll show you how. Don't worry." Said the Knight calmly. Ferrin looked up and Ser Xervos held the door open. "After you." With a nod, Ferrin walked in. Ser Xervos followed and the door closed behind them. "We can start as soon as your ready."
