Say; I think there's some space between taking inspiration from existing tales and copying them with altered names. Some common elements of fairytales appear in multiple ones and make sense for Miz as much as they made for our medieval folk, and I don't see why we wouldn't incorporate them. That involves bad stepmothers as much as it does groups of three siblings with very specific traits (as you used in one of your stories).
