Sebastian was born and raised in Syliras, the son of a merchant. Having everything given to him through life, he had craved something more for years. More nobleman than sailor, his skills are lacking to say the least, but with his silver tongue, he has garnered the respect and liking of all that cross him.
Given the name Passion by his fellow captains for his lusty nature and way with women, the young man has no love for the nickname. However, it is no secret where he hails from and how he came to be among them; fellow captains have no worry of Sebastian being a spy. The young prince stole one of his father's ships with a ragtag crew of friends and bribed men, and set out in the night. Since then, he has made particular sport of stealing from his father's company and rarely passes up a chance to revolt against his former pampered life.
He is also particularly good with the crossbow and gives it as the primary weapon to any that join his crew, often stating flatly to newcomers that, if a man can't get close enough to cut you, then you never have to worry about your neck or back by way of explanation. On more than one occasion, he has settled crew disputes by walking 10 paces, turning load, and shooting, and from that has gained a reputation for never missing and having even fewer qualms with killing one of his own. While fair and kind, Captain Passion is without a doubt as ruthless as any businessman.
