K’Sein radiates the aura of a professional. She loves her craft and considers it an artform, even if she is making kitchen knives. Considered a workaholic by her sisters, she remains near the furnace all day long, sometimes even on her free days. Considerable proficiency with numbers allows her to run the shop entirely on her own. When tending to customers, she prefers to show, not tell which weapon suits them most. Avalis has blessed her with the gift of knowing which weapon type, sometimes even which specific weapon, suits someone’s personality best and thus she is often more of an advisor than an assistant during the purchasing process. Apart from that, K’Sein is honest and open, always ready to accept special requests as challenges.
Appearance
Hard physical work has left its signs on K’Sein’s body. Although she features the same delicate built as her sisters, she has developed muscle mass that is barely visible under her skin and salmon pink scales running up and down her limbs and forming patterns on her back. She moves with self-confidence and a kind of strength that is rare among the peace-loving Konti. Her trademark is the red headband binding her white and silver hair back when she is working or serving customers. Her features are clear and open, yet feature a certain sharpness of the nose and chin. Her eyes are the darkest shade of ocean blue. Nobody has ever seen her wearing a dress; instead she prefers comfortable tunics and pants, usually white in color.
History
K’Sein has never left Konti Isle. In her childhood she was more of a dabbler in different crafts than anything else, trying pottery, metalsmithing or sewing. When she neared the age of thirty without setting her mind on a profession yet, her mother had already given up on her. Just then a traveling Akalak visited Mura. He and K’Sein developed a lasting relationship over their shared interest for crafting weapons. From him she has learned the basics of the skill. When the Akalak left in search for another city in need of his abilities, K’Sein had just opened a shop. It took some time until the peaceful Konti developed an interest in combat, but for about thirty years the shop has been going well.
