„Of course I’ve heard of the noble Trema family“, Lucas said. Now that she had mentioned it, he could indeed remember hearing about them. His knight had made him study the history of Syliras, but Lucas had always been more interested in fighting, going on adventures and playing pranks than sitting in the library, reading about the First Wing families, so he’d stuffed all those history related bits into a corner of his mind so that they had soon been as good as forgotten. He was still pleased to be dancing with a member of such a prestigious family now though. While his parents were good knights and everything, they weren’t particularly high ranking. „You must be pretty proud to come from such a family“, he remarked. For a moment he thought that she had sounded a little angry, but that didn’t make any sense to him. Why should she be angry when she had such famous ancestors? She was a weird girl, he decided. In fact she was a walking contradiction as far as he was concerned. He had been as good as convinced that she didn’t really want to dance with him, but then he noticed that her grip tightened after the song ended. He considered her offer to teach him for a bit, and then he smiled and told her, „I’d appreciate if you could teach me.“ Even though she was weird, she was quite pretty. When did she want to teach him though? Right now?! |
