[Golden Dragon] The Rushin' Boy (Open)

Drask flinched at the flame that appeared in the Reimancer's hand. Drask stared at it in awe, unable to break his gaze away from it. It seemed so ethereal, so unreal, but he was staring right at it. the boy began to wonder if he could perform something that amazing and (seemingly) useful. It couldn't be too hard, right? Well, he hoped it wasn't.

An interesting idea seeped into his head as they entered the barracks. "I know this is so sudden, what with us just meeting... but have you ever taken on an apprentice? I've heard of magic before, but I've never been able to actually do it. But, do you have to be chosen for such a thing? Does everyone have this... ermmm... Djed?"

He blinks at the sudden question as he turns to Drask. "An apprentice? Yeah. I'll teach you if you'd like Drask. Reimancy and Glyphing as that be all I know for now." He chuckles, turning towards the shadows, pressing a door open to reveal a staircase. "This way is the training rooms."

Andresciel lit another flame, using it to light a torch on the wall. "Its Fire Reimancy. I'm using my basic Wind Reimancy to control it. As for your question on Djed. Everyone has it, and no one has to be chosen that I know of. Just taught. I was taught by my superior." He chuckles, as he began to descend the stairs. "This way."

Drask smiled brightly and Andresciel, glad that he was so willing to accept him. Everyone in Syliras seemed to be so kind, so pure-hearted. Drask didn't want to believe that there were cruel people in the world, much less the city. He believed everything to be Black and White, but he was greatly mistaken. Despite having his entire clan killed at the hands of a priest, he believed that all people had good in them, whether it be a Human, a Kelvic, or a Nuit (which he had heard many nasty things about).

The boy listened intently to the Knight as he briefly explained the magic he was using. He could only guess that Reimancy was a fancy word for "magic", or at least a certain type of magic he used. Drask was confused, however, by his explanation of how he was controlling it. Certainly wind would put out the flame if anything, right? It would be the same as his Step-father blowing out the candles at night. Of course, this was magic.

He chuckles as he looks down at Drask. "I'm stoking the flames with my Wind Reimancy, a type of elemental magic. I am an user of wind and fire. Using the fire to provide light and the wind to control the heat and flames." He smiles as he reached the bottom of the stairs, glancing about. "Hm. I think most of the Knights be asleep."

He walked forward into the training rooms, eyeing the dummies who littered the floors. "Welcome to the Syliras Knight Training Barracks. Warrior Knights use this area quite often to practice their fighting skills."

The young Kelvic listened intently to the Reimancer's explanation, absorbing what he said in the hopes that he, too, could use this knowledge when performing magic. He could imagine how much easier it would be to hunt with magic. He wouldn't have to spend money on torches and fire-starters. He could paralyze animals with bolts of electricity. The more he thought about it, the more excited he got.

When they entered the training area, Drask tapped his shoe against one of the scarecrow-looking dummies with straw bleeding out of it's many wounds, their blank faces staring up at the two. From the dummies he could tell that the Knights meant serious business. "Do you train magic in here too? Can you show me some more of your magic?" he asked, his bright, golden eyes sparkling with admiration and excitement.

Andresciel smiles as he watched the boy listen intently to him, and then blinked at his question. Show him magic?, Andresciel mused and nods to himself.

"Alright. But stand here." He stated as he walked forward towards one of the more burned dummies. He focused first on Fire Reimancy. He placed his hand forward, allowing the flames to shoot from his hand, exploding in contact with the dummy. "Flame." Andresciel stated.

Next came wind, focusing the wild element took but a second. Andresciel's hand flicked, and the wind shot up around the dummy in a tornado of sorts, only smaller and focused to cut within and not without. "Cyclone." Andresciel explained the element.

Now, as the cyclone died down, a crackling of electricity could be heard from Andresciel as he held both hands forward, touching pointers and thumb. A small bolt of lightning shot forth from his touching hands, striking the dummy's chest, exploding in a crackling sparks that would harm living beings. "Bolt Strike."

Now, with a bit of ink, Andresciel drew a glyph on the dummy, taking care to curve up the marker to include a wavy pattern like a flame. When he touched his hand to the glyph, focusing his flame Reimancy, the symbol glowed red until he stepped back. With a snap, the glyph exploded, unleashing a roar of flames. "Glyphing." He smiles turning to Drask to await his reaction to the Four Magic Attacks

Drask watched quietly as the man extend his arm, the air around his hand bursting into flame. The sudden materialization of flame caught the young Kelvic off guard, and he stumbled backwards into one of the straw dummies that littered the floor.

Now deeply enthralled, Drask kept his eyes trained on the lifeless straw warrior, afraid he may miss something vital. Soon, he felt the air around him pull towards Andresciel and his foe, only to see it be engulfed in a small tornado, violently tugging it back and forth on it's pole.

The Reimancer's next attack came without warning as the air in the room felt extremely hot for an eyeblink, an arc of lightning jumping from his hand to the dummy. Drask could have sworn a bolt had stretched out to him.

The last spell let out a wave of heat that washed over Drask and pushed him back against the walls of the training hall. He had to close his eyes, as the explosion nearly blinded him, but when he reopened them, he saw nothing but burnt straw.

"Whoa... That's..." He couldn't finish his statement.

"Reimancy and Glyphing. Deadly arts, even deadlier when they are combined." Andre chuckles as he removed the gauntlets from his fingers, allowing them to drop to the floor so he could flex his fingers. That Lightning Reimancy had taken a bit more out of him then his normal Fire and Wind spells.

"What do you think Drask?" He asked, a smile on his lips as he watched the male he had just shown his powers too. Few had ever seen the strongest of his spells, few had even seen him use the Lightning Element.
