Go ahead, take a cushion. I’d offer you a chair, but we tend to have a shortage of those in the desert. And no, you can’t have anything to drink. If you’ve got a thread that needs grading, drop it off here. If you want me to mod a thread, please give me a list of the players, a concept of how you’d like to develop them in the thread, and a brief summary of their fears, loves, regrets, and dreams (I’d prefer this last part through PM). If you want to stay for the long haul, I only request that you sign the right forms, give me a plate of ginger snaps, and stay quiet for my siesta.

[FLASHBACK] Changing Minds
20 Summer 510
Near Yahebah

In which two Benshira women encounter a Nuit in need.

Concept:

Flashback to 20 Summer 510. Liora and Adarra are traveling in the desert not far from Yahebah when they come across a shipwrecked Casinor belonging to Anselm, a Nuit who is injured badly enough that he's going to have to find a replacement body quickly or he will die. They are beset by bandits. The women must overcome their prejudices to save the Nuit and must use their skills and wits to defeat the bandits. (Other plot twists are welcome.)

List of Players:

Liora - Liora previously allowed a wounded man to die in Summer 505 (well..... she might have helped him along a bit) and has felt guilty about it ever since. Though it goes against her better instincts to help a Nuit, she feels that she might be able to ease her conscience and make up for her previous deed.

Adarra - Adarra wants to prove that she can be independent and defend herself in harsh situations. Her opinion of magic will be shaped by this close encounter with a Nuit, and she'll realize that she really does need other people to survive. This should also implant the idea in her head that her calling lies out in the big wide world and not in Yahebah.

Anselm – The main goal for Anselm in this flashback is to show how he acquired his most recent body, a 65 year old human male with a limp (see his character sheet). He is also a collector of rare, beautiful or unusual objects. Finding something specific to Yahebah would be cool.

An Interruption - Not quite finished, but Emma trying very hard to get work done despite distractions.
