After eating Antar’s strike with his blade, Mok’s mind slipped for a moment. For a second he forgot that he was only sparring. The blades interlocked, their bodies pressed closer, and then the myrian warrior used his free hand to punch Antar’s temple. The sudden whacking sound brought Mok back to reality. In a real life or death struggle, Mok would incorporate his unarmed training with his swordplay, but his was a friendly spar. This training session was focusing on practicing sword techniques and the young warrior now felt extremely ignorant. Luckily for Mok though the awkward positioning made for a weak punch to the head. Mok backed up and gave Antar his space.
“I apologize Antar. During a real fight you must use both your weapon and your body. It is crucial to surviving any type of combat in my opinion. Do we resume?” Mok waited for Antar’s approval before beginning again.
oocI rather finish this thread and continue with gladius training the way we planned earlier. I want to research it and structure our threads better. If you want to continue, post that you want Mok to continue, if not you can start ending it.
