84th Day of Summer Alstroemeria was making her way to the enclave for her daily job. She expected to see more people, but all she saw was a man, woman, and a child. She pushed the door open fully walking towards her desk quickly. She saw the man look up to her, she smiled at him, a small wave she gave him. His expression was emotionless, she couldn't help but pay attention to him. His aura felt different, she liked it sort of. Who knew? Alstroemeria turned her head to the floor, keeping her head low. As she went to her desk, she opened the chair, then sat on it. She really had nothing to do, therefore she could read a book. Her family book maybe? She didn't know. She quickly walked to her desk, taking her seat. She took her pouch from over her shoulder and placed it on the desk quickly. Opening it, she took out her family book. One she treasured the most and could never live without. It told her everything about her foster family, it even made her feel like she was in a fairytale of some sort. But for once she felt an urge to stare at the man, weird as it was... Something lured her to him. Her chlorine eyes hid at the edge of the huge book as she pretended to read. She made out his physical features, he reminded her of someone she had loved once. Now he is dead because of some medical condition, she couldn't exactly remember. Even if she did, she wouldn't want to talk about it. She saw him meet her eyes for one second, he was amazing. She gave a small smile, looking back into her books. She couldn't believe she actually met someone that she felt something... What was it? Love... Couldn't have been. She could never fall in love, who would love her? She was worth nothing. |
