Lucy was flying around in her eagle form. She was really close to Denval, but she couldn't see it yet. She was flying in a huge circles around it. She couldn't just fly in. She felt stupid doing so. She haven't been there for a years. She should've come even earlier, but... a trip took a while, it's long story. She recognized the terrain around the city she liked so much. She used to fly there when she was full of emotions, no matter if it was happiness or sadness. She used to hunt there too. Thousands of pictures appeared in her had. She was sad and happy at the same. It was probably nostalgia.

She decided to fly into the city. She haven't came here to be nostalgic, she came to make new memories which she'll think of next time she feels nostalgic. She came to find her sister, and that's more important then any stupid nostalgia. She saw the road and flied down to pass trough it. She flied up again so she can see whole city. First thing she saw was the Docks, the place she used to play when she was young. Then the Passenger Quay, the place she also used to play at, and the last place in Denval she've been at before her parents deaths. The Chapel, the Labyrinth, the Lyceum, the Raster market, the old, good Raster market. Everything was right there before her! The Temple of Nkali, the Theo's farm, the Opal Clinic, the Capitain's Hall. Everything was almost the way she left it. Denval was small city, but still she could see the progress it made.

She easily landed to the street. She have remembered many peoples, they were not much older, it's not like her ageing, they haven't changed a lot. She recognized many kids she used to play with who were still that - kids. She would smile then, but eagles can't make faces like humans. She needs to find Luna now, if she is even here... or at least find some clothes. Will Luna recognize her eagle form now when she is black? Those were problems she have to think about, but now, watching at Denval sunset, she could't imagine somebody having problems. Her? No, she was the perfectly happy Klevic... which needs to find Luna. With that in mind she started to fly around the city streets and look trough windows. She had a feeling that her sister is here, finally.

2nd of Fall, 511 AV

"Land, ho!” A sailor bellowed from the crow's nest.

“Land, ho!” A little girl cried, echoing the sailor's call. Dashing across the deck, she threaded through a cluster of crewmen before bounding up the prow as far as she dared. A stout brown dog trundled at her heels, tongue lolling and tail flapping in shared glee. Together, they peered across a fall of chill autumn waters, catching their first glimpse of the shores of their new home: Denval.

“Papa! Papa!” The girl turned to beckon to a grown Vantha man, summoning him to her side with the frantic waving of both hands. “Look! It's Denval!” Swelling with excitement and apprehension, she hopped from one foot to the other, and then up and down, up and down. Couldn't this boat sail any faster?

2nd of Fall, 511AV
Haraza was resting against the side of the ship, ignoring the rocking. He never much liked big ships, and this journey had been no picnic. Still, it was nice to get away from everything, give himself some time to think. He was jarred from his thoughts by the shouting of the sailor, calling out that they had at last arisen clear of the watery strait clearing the Avanthal and Denval gap.

Haraza kept a careful eye on his daughter, watching her frolic with her dog. At the raise of her hands he was over in a flash, rising oddly quicker and moving across the wooden board in an instant. He gave Hanno a big smile, staring out at the town that filled the horizon. "Our new home, my little hunter!"

Haraza gave Hanno a suspicious glance, eyes narrow and looking at her from the side of his eyes. His mouth was turned into a devious smile, and he watched for her face to light up with realization. Haraza suddenly grabbed his little girl before she could escape, lifting her off the ground. He spun around the ship with her for a moment, intent on dizzying her for a moment with a hearty laugh.

Finally he set the girl next to him and looked out again at Denval. A new start for them both.

Murphy stood at the front of the ship the entire time it sailed, only sleeping during the dead silence the night brought. When the ship stopped abruptly a few people were unfazed by its sudden stop, he was one of them, he grabbed his bag and flipped them over his shoulder and with his four paws he walked toward the gang plank.

He crossed and got a safe distance away so he wouldn't be bothered by the people who gave directions and bothered the new comers. He lifted his head and took a deep breath threw his cold wolfen nose. The scent of my friend, he's close I can feel it" Murphy thought to himself the only problem is where, he lowered his head a picked up the scent again he started following it again keeping low to the ground so no one would notice him.

He found his friend at a feast, a giant feast with a giant crowd, "Oh boy," the Kelvic boy thought this will be interesting.

34th Day Of Fall 511 AV - Early Afternoon

It was around midday, the sun was up and shining brightly, the sounds of the waves beating gently against the shore creating a peaceful atmosphere. If you looked off into the distance, not far from the shore, you would see a large trail of black smoke, following the trail to its origin was what looked like a giant bonfire floating on the ocean. The flames roared as they engulfed the ship, slowly spreading their wicked rath. About an hour ago the ship was nothing more than an anchored vessel floating off shore, it seemed like any other except for the secrets it held. The ship was the place that Sheva had been held captive for the past few weeks. Time had blurred in the dark cage that she was imprisoned in and Sheva lost count, now not knowing if she had been there for weeks or months. Luckily, the girl had recently escaped the ship and its treacherous crew.

Now the young girl, filthy, tired and scared made her way along the shore to the unfamiliar city ahead. She looked at it as she approached, analysing the buildings which looked completely different to any she had seen. The city, or town, was completely surrounded by what looked like massive piles of rubble with the exception of the coast.

Slowly Sheva arrived at the city, she began to walk up the nearest street looking for an Inn. She needed to know the date, where she was aswell as a meal, a good wash and sleep, yes the young kelvic craved sleep.
She hoped that someone would help her as she walked through the street, clearly out of place. But who would help or even talk to her, a strange filthy young girl in a land that was not her own, a foreigner.

Hiro awoke with a start looking around quickly at his surroundings he quickly realized he had been washed up on rocks somehow. He stood up shivering before climbing up the rocks and sitting down holding his head in pain. He had a head ache now and he couldn't remember a thing. This definitely was not turning out to be his day. His muscles ached but it quickly went away as he breathed in and out slowly, something he felt he should do, as warmth spread throughout his body he felt stronger and more relaxed which made him wonder how exactly he did that.

The thought went away however as he sat there on the rocks looking out to sea. Where did he come from? Why was he in the sea in the first place? Those questions and more swirled about his head but he let them be for now as he decided to get up and head into town. He passed the main entrance and as he did the people smiled and waved to him a woman or two looking him up and down with his rippling muscles and ripped and tattered clothes its no wonder they did. He was six feet tall with a toned and muscular body, tanned skin and emerald green eyes. Such was not normal around these parts and Hiro knew it. With that he decided he would try to find a guide that could help him figure out where he was and maybe even point him to someone to help in restoring his memories.

Hi, Gigasis! Welcome to Denval!

Before you start role playing, you must have a Character Sheet. If you have already posted one in the Character Sheets Forum, then please link it on your profile via your User Control Panel so that we can easily locate it. Also, under “Race” you have Staff Account listed which is inaccurate.

Please PM me once the above problems have been corrected and at that juncture you may continue role playing in Denval and Mizahar as a whole.

Do not hesitate to contact me if I can be of any assistance. The Starting Guide is very helpful. I have PMed you this information as well.

10th Day of Fall 511 AV

Edward stood on the cliff side staring down as water carelessly ran into it. He released a long heavy sigh of relief, he had choosen to come here because he knew it would calm him.
The most recent arguement with his parents was the last he would take from them. Thoughts racked throughout his brain leaving him uneasy. Leaving them had to be the right decision, he was a burden on them and they were overbearing, all good reasons to continue with his plan of leaving.
"But where to go?" Edward chuckled, he had not meant to ask aloud as if someone were around to hear he chuckled again at further thought of the matter mocking himself.
Edward regained his baring, and continued staring blankly down the cliff side. How relaxing it was, the sound of the water and the chill wind blowing around. A small gust blew past, his cloak hood falling from around his head he pulled it closer, recovered his head and continued to think.
"Today I do what others won't, so tomorrow I can do what others can't!"

TS: Winter 511, Day 2, Pre-Dawn Darkness

The Konti swayed on the quay, her sea legs lingering as she hefted her pack from one shoulder to another. A hammer handle tapped her thigh as it hung from a loop in her belt, and her clothes hung loose on a frame poorly maintained.

So this was Denval. She hadn't expected it to be so bright. It was like a finch hiding in the cleft of a rock.

She was here, against the gods-damned odds. And now... she had no idea what came after this crowning achievement. If it wasn't so early, she'd get shyke-faced to forget how awful and afraid she felt. Then again, when did timing ever stop her?

Postby Sela on December 7th, 2011, 9:34 pm

Timestamp: 5th Winter 511 A.V.

Winter's chill bit into her flesh as Sela neared the town. While she could scarcely say she felt temperature like other beings, hosted within a dead body, the cold seemed to pierce the layers of undead flesh straight to her ichor. Tanned arms, arms she had gotten so used to in the last couple of months, came up to draw the cloak around her small form tightly. The ship beneath her feet rocked to and fro, to and fro, an unending rhythm that allowed the thought she'd been trying to avoid come to the forefront of her mind;

I shouldn't be here.

The voice had repeated itself over and over again in her trip here from the Wastes, hunching her form over with the weight of a thousand imagined stones. It was an older voice, a man's voice. He spoke with a terrible ferocity washed up from the dregs of her past, a terrible anguish in his low tone. Each step she took closer to this place brought with it the repressed memories of faces in the dark, archaic Denvali words threatening, abusing, burning her...

A sharp gasp escaped undead lips, crystallizing in the frosty air. The ship had stopped, and the sight of buildings had filled Sela's gaze. Old buildings, familiar buildings. She was...here. In Denval.

Home. She was home.
