Character Concept

Luke has a passive aggressive personality. He tends to come across as very outgoing and loud but inside he is still a child trying to be more than he is. Selfish does not run in him well, he will help anyone in need even if it will cost him something. He has lacking ethics cause of the fact he had no parents to raise him. He more or less can get a job done even if it cost him a friendship or two. He does not show or admit he is afraid of anything even though he avoids most races except humans along with a few others. Luke has a fondness for pretty girls, even though his last boss beat him for going after his emotions. Luke does not drink and won't ever be pushed into it. He usually eats alone or not all.

Character History

Luke Skyler Clark was originally born in Sylira as most humans are born in that region. He was born to a mother who really did not want him, but he only knew her for a short amount of time. His mother gave him up after he was about 4 or 5 years old be raised by his uncle Simon Clark. Simon Clark, was a native of Sylira and made sure that he had a good education until an incident at school. Some boys were picking on him and the magic within him reacted badly to the being picked on and the first time he used magic he nearly knocked the kid out with the anger inside him being the trigger. He passed from the use of the spell not knowing what he had done. His Uncle soon found out what happened and was upset with his nephew and scared him to death that the kid ran away at the age of 17 he was on his own. He thought it was better that way cause he would not hurt anyone. One of many secrets about Luke was the fact of how he got the gold eyes. Some thought it was from the use of the magic at a young age without knowledge of controlling it; others think his mom did it to him when she came to visit when he was 14 years old and taught him only how to turn his eyes or she did it herself.

Uncle Simon soon moved out of Sylira to end up in Wind Reach knowing that Luke would soon go there to make his own way in the world as a 19 year old almost 20. Luke would be a handsome man of his near 20s with those golden eyes that had to be reverted back somehow to the beautiful blue. He did not know anyone that could help him in that area. He would have to find out that information in Wind Reach and learn the conversion back to the blue eyes that he loved so much. With Luke on root to Wind Reach and only getting their within the end of summer and the start of fall. It would mean he would have to stay until Spring. That meant he would get enough time to himself to draw the great mountain in the area and the natives with the beautiful long hair.

Not much is known about Luke's parentage other than his dad, was from Sylira and his mother along with his father's brother Uncle Simon came from Sylira as well. Luke's father, was Duvnar Clark who was an important figure in the Syliran world but not sure how important he was cause he was never in Luke's life. Jessibelle his mother was a strawberry blonde woman who loves her boy very much but was not married to Duvnar at the time she had her son. They believe Duvnar is the father cause he looks like Duvnar but that might not be the true father for the true father was never found out.

Luke had one thing his father (or so called father) did not have. He had the will to fight back and was highly good at it. One person was warned only once by Luke before he pulled out all the stops and knocked the guy out. Luke had a low tolerance for men beating on women or any other race. He would sick up for any lowly race that was not his own. Luke decided it was high time he would become a ranger and wonder the world doing things to help people. The only thing was that he needed some training in fighting with a sword as well. The truth of Luke's birth and so much more had to be found out and Luke had to do it alone or at least find a friend with a goal that almost matched his own.
