oocThank god in flashbacks you don't need to pay for things off your starting ledger *_*. We'd both be losing out in this deal as these things are stuff my character normally wouldn't buy at all . But hey. it's for story Anyways >.> I'd figure my character would be realllly nice (for him anyways) and get you some more customers. Feel free to end this on the next post if you wish to make Aiza's first stall day a success. But if you want to continue for a post or two after ^-^ I won't mind.
"Deal." Antar said without hesitation and handed over the mizas and smiled to give a little wink at the newly minted shopkeeper. Gathering up his satchel and things he strode off slightly towards the other side of the markets before he paused a moment. The girl was obviously untested as a shopkeeper and he'd felt a little bad at fleecing her, even if it was for his own survival. At least she'd have the rest of her cart of supplies to carry on making sales.
'She'd make up the price difference, wouldn't she?' Taking a glance back towards the girl who was smiling he tried to force away a small naggling sense of humanity which stirred in the cold recesses of his black heart...
Antar had gotten his goods, but something seemed off. No others milling in the markets had seemed to pay attention to her cries of her shop being open. He took pity on the poor girl and cleared his throat, walking into the crowd to pitch his voice louder and louder as he began a sales pitch that many a market crier used. He was only good for speaking in common so far, though he was making an attempt to try to learn vani, the language of the Vantha. So to add things he started to put on a show, dancing a strange, if very bad jig as he pointed and generally made a fool of himself to try to attract people's attention. "Alright! Step Right Up! Step Right Up here, to Aiza's Stall. She's a lovely little lass and quite chipper in her sale of fine vegetables. Only 2 gold mizas per pound on baby carrots. Two gold mizas per pound on fresh baby potatoes. Great for all your needs if you can cook 'em right. Step Right up. Step Right up. Aiza's Vegetable Stall. Get 'em while their good."
Whether it was the colorful display of horrid dancing, or anything in his voice which called out to them, a few of the vantha girls, and an old woman looked at him and chuckled behind their hands at him. Waggling his eyebrows at them he continued, pointing towards Aiza's stall as he gave them a roguish smile and a wink. 'Step right up, step right up to Aiza's baby vegetable stand. A little tarter in flavor but all around great for your favorite recipes if you can work with something of a new element. Step Right Up."
Slowly but surely the crowd around Aiza's stand began to grow, bringing her the much needed customers she deserved. A few vani even held out 2 gold for a pound of the small shrimpy carrots speaking word that Noth couldn't understand in that rapid fire language the race seemed to use. "Step Right Up. Step Right Up."
