Home of the Konti people, this ivory city is built of native konti stone half in and half out of the sea. Its borders touch the Silverwood, and stretch upwards towards Silver Lake, home of the infamous konti vision water. [Lore]

36 Day of Autumn

Taithrosa had gone to there favorit beach in the afternoon, he had wanted to take the chance to enjoy the sun and land before the ship dparted again for its destination. The tall Ethafeal had desided to take a run along the beach, it was good to move his muscles and get some exerices. He was wearing only a loin cloth as he ran. His saphire blue skin shown with a gleam of sweet as he ran in the warmer enviroment. His arms were held at his side at right and the swung back and forth as he moved. The muscles in his arms tight and showing against his skin.

His feet were actually bare as he ran through the sand, and the muscles in his thighs tightening and releasing as he ran. He enjoyed the feeling in his body as he used energy and stretched his muscles. Taithrosa was an Akalak in this form and his body didn't change much his other form. Most of that was in skin color and subtle changes. In either way he was athetically built. He was blessed that he didn't have to really watch what he eat because over night his body consumed the light from the moon. So just had to keep his body strong.

After a while he turned around and began walk back. He breathed in and out slowlly his large musclar chest heaving as he walked and allowed his body to cool down. He could feel the warmth of Syna on his body, and briefly longed for the feel of Lyths light upon his perfected skin.

He slowed even more in his walking the sweet and gleamed upon his body was begining to dry. The silver eyes turned towards the see as he felt the memory of a hymn coming to his mind. He couldn't pronouce the true way it was sung because of the linguistical limitation of a mortal body, but he could understand the meaning well enough and translate some semblance of it. Common was just not the right language.

He paused on the beach and stretched his legs as he watched the waves and the he stood up and began to sing. His voice was a pleasent baratone. He could hit the lowers registery but his singing voice prefered the mid registers. It was more pleasent to the ear, it was a soothing earthy sound, and soothed the ear and the mind.

He sange loudly and clearly with no concern for who might hear him.
Do you think that you could ever, Through all eternity,
Find out the generation Where Gods began to be?
Or see the grand beginning, Where space did not extend?
Or view the last creation, Where Gods and matter end?
Me thinks the Spirit whispers, “No man has found ‘pure space,’
Nor seen the outside curtains, Where nothing has a place.”

Time and Blessings (Kail)

Postby Kail D'Rea on November 4th, 2011, 3:54 am

Standing on the small sand dune near the beach, Kail looked down over the sea, listening to Taith and watching the waves behind her. She relaxed listening to his calm and even voice, singing a song she didn’t know. It was pleasant and so was Taith’s voice, which she had never heard raised in song before. She didn’t want to interrupt. She didn’t even know if she wanted to talk to him right now. Kail had come looking for Taith when he didn’t return to their cottage for supper. That wasn’t unusual in itself: Taith often wanted time to meditate, to study or to exercise and Kail was glad when he did because she wanted time to herself as well. She spent most of it cleaning up the house lately. She was surprised how much more mess two people made then one, but when the state of the house was up to par, Kail could work on her writing. She had recently started to write. Mostly just things her herself, kind of a journal, but she was also working on a story just for fun and was rather intent on it. These thoughts briefly flitted through her mind before she returned to the present.

She had come looking for Taith because she wanted to talk, but now that she could see him, close to her and being incredibly attractive, singing, with the toned body glinting in the last rays of the setting sun, she changed her mind. She wasn’t sure what Taith would think about what she had to say and she wanted him to be happy with her, endlessly in love with her when he left again on his journey. Then he would come back. Maybe.

On the other hand, if he didn’t come back, she would always regret not speaking to him now. Or maybe it would cause him not to come back. Suddenly her mind rebelled at the confusing circle of pointless thoughts. “Arugh!” she yelled in her mind. “Why does everything have to be so hard!? Why can’t I just know my own mind and heart and follow it? Instead I need to question and second guess and wonder. This stops right now.” She looked down again at the large man singing into the sunset. His still-blue skin made a dark shadow against the waves now and his voice was stopped every now and then by a louder wave. She felt her connection to him breaking up just as her view and reception was. “Now think.” She told herself. “Do you really have any option here? Is this worth worrying about? You know that he will say what he will say and do what he will do and you will accept it and stay loyal to him no matter what. So stop worrying. Just go.”

Feeling thoroughly chastised by herself, but gaining a little courage from the feeling, Kail moved down the beach toward the man who was so familiar to her, and yet still so little known. Able to surprise her with a new ability just when she felt she knew him. It was an idea that made her smile and hope for the future.

Taithrosa contiuned to watch the waves around him with his eyes, but his mind had turned inward so while his eyes saw his mind didn't really register much else. The words he sang were ancient a hymn to Leth that he had learned in lives before his current one. His body adjusted itself to a singing position.

His body seemed to stand straighter and it seemed as if his body opened to the world around him. His voice stayed in that same pleasent range, while his voice rose and fell in volumn.

The words while ancient held a beauty of a song long crafted that had sadely been lost to the modern age. It was a song about the love between Leth and Syna a love old and ancient as the world. This was a part of him. Taithrosa had spent many long years living with his father and it was a comfort to sing the words about him again.

Walking down the sandy hill, Kail was surprised that Taith didn’t notice her. He must be very focused on the music. She waited listening to the clear tones travel over the sea, standing just behind the tall man as she waited for the tones to cease. It was just too beautiful to interrupt. As Taith’s voice stilled, the little blond woman moved forward and placed her hand gently on his arm. She wasn’t smiling, but her face was relaxed and she just couldn’t help but be more at peace, here by the sea with Taith, his music still echoing in her mind.

“What is it,?” she asked him. “I mean the song. What does it mean? It is very lovely.” Kail really did want to know, and she also wanted this chance to just spend time with Taith. With his voyage about to begin again, she valued these times, trying to memorize every detail so that she would always have this place to go to in her mind.

Turning towards the love of his life as the son he was singing wound to a close. His lips spread into a smile as he looked down at her his eyes happy, but sad. Happy to see her but the sad about what he was missing. This evening was a difficult time. For some reason the longing that Taithrosa normally could keep at bay was creeping out of its seems today.

He paused before answering here. "It was a song about the realm of Leth." He said sadly. He gave her a brave smile. "Sadely i can't do it truely justice with a physical body." He looked at her and tilted his head begining to get the impression that she wanted to talk about something. He pulled her into his arms then and held her, just breathing in the smell of her.

He held for a while pulling the comfort that he needed from her, all the while just being.

Allowing the embrase was at first difficult. Kail wanted to looked closer at Tatih's face and try to see not only the pain, but also a way to cure it. As soon as he had turned to her she saw his intense sadness. This was one of those times when it was more then a passing thing, but a rising to the surface of that deep, intence loss that she really couldn't do anything about. She had seen it before, of course, and not only knew that it was something she couldn't ease, but also that trying just made it worse. The best thing was just to be there for Tatih. To allow the feelings without interuption. Besides, she had wanted to be close to him, and now she was.

The emotions were strong and it made the connection between them feel stronger too. Sadness and was was certainly something Kail would never wish for Tatih, but when he did sink into thier depths, he seemed to bring Kail along. It wasn't a good feeling, exactly, but it was a strong and a memorable one. Those were both things Kail wanted right now, so she continued to resist the urge to free herself enough to see his face and insteed just stayed close and tried to feel every feeling and remember this connection in a way that would stay with her. It was undoubtably good for them both.

Time seemed to stop and for a moment, all there was was the failing light and the growing calm between them.

The two stood together for a g momeant. It was a time that was with out time. Taith held on to the woman he loved and allowed that love to flow over him and to calm his soul and his emotions.

After a moment his hold of her changed. It changed from clinging to holding. His eyes were still closed as he held her for a long time. His mind calmed down and the pain of the loss began to recess as he turned his mind to the here and now.

His face loss its painful look and took on a peaceful look as he clung to his beloved.

His mucles loosened up and Taith seemed to relax slowly and subtely around her. Kail was glad to see that worst of the pain seemed to be receeding. She stayed tucked snugly into his arms and finally, only after she felt him lose the worst of his tention, she spoke. "I'm sorry Taith. I wish I could help you. That there was a way to make it all right. If it helps, I love you." Kail knew that it was no compensation for the life Taithrosa had lost and that it never would be, but reminding him seemed to help. "Do you want to talk? I'm here if you do, you know. Or I can talk to you. I may be able to take your mind off things."

Kail wasn't sure it was a good time for them to discuss weighty matters, so whe decided to see what Taith said and judge his mood. If it seemed right, she would clear her mind and heart and tell Taith everything. Otherwise, well, she could wait until he was ready. Not long though. Time was pressing down on her and she was still very distressed about Taith's aproaching departure. Even thinking that now was a distraction and a worry. She tried to forget it again and refocus on the moment, waiting to see if Taith felt the strengh to respond.

He held his love close to him glade that he had found this woman once again in his new life upon Mizahar. He only had fragments of memories and the konti hadn't excisted when he had last been alive, and the woman in his memories had been human he was sure of that, but there was something so much more then that though. They had similar looks but the feel of her was the same, something that he was sure he only felt before of his current nature. They were two souls drawn to each other. He held her small body against his large body feeling the warmth of her and sharing the warmth.

She never could understand how much she helped against the lonelyness of his gone existances. She was his anchor in this time and place, and when the melencholy wasn't over him he felt that she was more then worth the return. He looked into her eyes the sheen of her scales giving her a glow his own silver eyes softening as the melencholy drained out of them. His lips slowlly spread into a smile as he looked at her.

"You do not know how much that knolwdged helps," he says his voice particularly thick with his accent. He placed his forhead against hers. "Please talk to me. I want to hear what is on your mind. I need to move beyond this melencholy." He said with that soft smile as his eyes spoke to her of the truth behind his words. There was a reflection in his eyes that spoke of a great depth of feeling when he looked at her. He contiuned to look at her letting the words that she spoke to him just flow over him consusiming him in comfort and love. His mind cleared as he focused on her, giving it something to do.

Time and Blessings (Kail)

Postby Kail D'Rea on June 18th, 2012, 4:33 am

Everything about Taith’s demeanor softened and he was certainly passed the worst of his trial. Kail’s forehead rested against his and she imagined a flow between them of love that would bring them both peace and happiness. Okay, so it was a bit idealistic and silly, then everything about their relation was idealistic. She kept wondering if the dream would end or something bad would happen, but so far it hadn’t so she let herself imagine things like that connection and found it relaxing. For a few more days at least. Kail occasionally wondered if Taith could ever really move beyond his melancholy and if he did if he would be a different person altogether. Maybe then they wouldn’t have these moments. But that was something to contemplate later. For now, she needed to focus of putting things into words in the best way possible.

“Well I do have something to tell you. Something I want you to know before you leave me. Or I mean before you go on your trip.” Kail stopped. She had meant to keep this all positive, not focus on the fact that she did feel rather abandoned by Taith’s going, even if it did turn out to be just for a while. Kail tried again. “What I mean is, I love you very much and I’ve been very happy with you and now I’m going to be even happier because of you and I want you to share with me. Some little joy you can take with you from my island and carry with you always. At least I hope it makes you as happy as it does me. Or happy at all. I mean I understand either way but I want you to know that I’m glad and that’s not something for you to worry about, you know, while you are gone.”

Kail stopped and took one deep breath. In that instant thoughts ran through her head. Why was she struggling so much with this? She was sounding bumbling and kind of stupid and this is not what she wanted. Not ever but especially not now. Looking at Taith, he seemed to be slightly amused. Kail worried he was laughing at her poor presentation and so not really listening to what she was saying. That happened to her sometimes when she was talking to someone and started grasping at words and ideas that didn’t seem to come out just right. She took a deep breath and just got to the point before she made it worse.

“I’m sure now that I’m going to have a baby. I really am glad to have this part of you with me, to take care of and love for you. While you are gone, I mean, and when you come back, well, I’m sure we can still be happy and…” Kail trailed off, not sure what to say and suddenly feeling like there was not more to say, anyway. She really had no idea what was going to happen next and had no control over it. She did trust Taith and so was willing to hope for the best: that he would be happy, too. She raised her violet eyes to meet his and experienced another one of those moments when everything in her world hung on what he said next.
