[Flashback]Nobody saw that, right? [Reaver]

While Sylira is by far the most civilized region of Mizahar, countless surprises and encounters await the traveler in its rural wilderness. Called the Wildlands, Syliran's wilderness is comprised of gradual rolling hills in the south that become deep wilderness in the north. Ruins abound throughout the wildlands, and only the well-marked roads are safe.

The boy sighed faintly as the questions kept coming. They did put him on other thoughts, but he just didn't feel well answering all those questions. Specially to someone who was using gloves to tell if he was hurt or not. But, he left that remark to himself, and played along. There was really no use of lying, then he could just tell anything he wished. "In a way, yes. The cause of it, if not else." The boy spoke, closing his eyes for a moment. "And I don't really plan of staying more than I should. It all depends, though. We'll see."

His arms were actually covered in bruisers as well. Now, they weren't broken, but it was a sigh of self-defence. He cringed a bit as the man's hands patted the spot which caused the uneasily painful feeling. "Hrhmmm. Water, huh? Thanks. I'll keep that in mind."

"I'm sure it will go away eventually...But if you want, go ahead."

The boy rather checked out. Sure, he was injured from head to toe, probably shouldn't move from a bed for a few days, but he'd recover rather nicely. "Yes, take a bath, drink plenty of water, and try and stay clean. If you have any cuts along you, I can help those after your bath. If you can, I'd also recommend bed-rest for at least a couple days. I don't have a bed, so I can't offer that one. I have a chair, but I rather doubt it would do nearly as well." He was joking, but the monotone might make that really hard to tell. "Anyway, as you got this far on your legs, I'll go about assuming more of the same. As you're not really injured beyond bruises, we'll say a single silver. No need to charge a fortune to give advice, yes?"

By now he was rather certain the boy trusted his medical knowledge even less. Well, all the same, he knew he had it. He wondered what sorts of things the boy knew. "If you do decide to stick around for a while, I could always offer more. I would love to teach you some medical skills, in exchange for knowledge you could add to my own. Money also works, with that I can buy books that hold such knowledge." Would he think the offer strange? Well, it was his hobby and his life. He had many things left to learn. Either way, his business with the boy here was done, perhaps with that body his business elsewhere could begin. He'd need to chop it up a bit, he couldn't change things of that size yet...

OOCHe's already done in his mind, but not collecting the money or hearing an answer on his offer are kinda hard things to miss. :P

[Flashback]Nobody saw that, right? [Reaver]

It was quite strange for him, to say the least, at this moment. At first, he thought this stranger would go ahead and ambush him while he was in this state. Now this man offered him to teach him a bit about healing. Quite an interesting concept. Really. Ignasius knew that he would need just a bit of knowledge about those skills if he really wanted to do anything else in this world. He couldn't always just hope for a healer to waltz around when he would need one.

The boy's hand dug into his vest's pocket quite deep, to the end, where the poorly done stitches did rest, and pulled out something metalic. It was night, so it was really hard to see. But, he was indeed holding a silver coin, which he did offer to the man in front of him.

"Thank you. And, I wouldn't mind learning new things. Trust me, though...I'd love to take that chair. Only if it is warm." It was obvious he was a tad more relaxed now. The denseness was now less recognisable.

Reaver thought dragging the body would probably be easiest. His new buddy would hardly want to be called that if he knew why. He would be surprised if he felt that way at all. Then, he was offered a coin. He stared at it a bit, then took it. He spoke, far more relaxed. "Cold as my armor after swimming. That chair, and probably the whole house must be at least a full two-hundred years old. Not a very good offer, I suppose. No charge there, to compensate. Good rest comes at a price, I suppose. All the same, it's yours to rest in." He reached into his bag, a bag Ignasius might not have noticed, practically hiding under his cloak. He pulled out a book, then a small vial of ink. He opened it up, and tore out a page. He took up a quill from inside, and closed the book. He opened the ink just long enough to dip the quill in, then he set the page on the front of the book. He began to write something done, and spoke. "I actually had business here in the woods, with your friend there anyway. How about I meet you there, then? If you're not there, you can find me there later. I'll teach you tomorrow, and we can discuss payment then. Maybe I should keep your friend here for demonstration, but I think I can manage without him."

He planned on making another stop in the morning, after he was done here. Maybe he'd buy a blanket or something. After all, warmth was needed for healing as well. He offered the page, now filled with directions to his home. "I do hope to find everything still there, I'd hate to see for myself how far you could run off with those injuries." He wasn't really worried about theft, he kept most things of value on him. He put the quill in the book, and all of it away into the bag. If their business concluded for now, he'd continue back to his training in the woods.

OOCWe could always put that training into a new thread, of course. Makes me wonder what sort of skill you would offer him...

Secret :
Probably not much things to offer but money. He doesn't quite know a lot. Specially in his state as a kid.

The boy nodded, and accepted the note he was given. He looked at the scribbles on the note, but merely scratches his head afterward. He can't exactly read. He thought about asking a stranger he'd meet on the way there to read it for him. That sounded as the most plausible plan to go with. He wasn't going to exactly steal anything, either. Or, maybe...He could find something there?

He shook his head, trying to push those thoughts out of his head. He'd then nod at the stranger. "I'll see you there, then. I'll survive the cold, I suppose. I could always just go to the shop tomorrow and get a blanket, or something. I'll wait for you around."

He said, before making his way back to Ravok.
