Maea Waydrop (In progress) Basic Information Race: Human Birthday & Age : Summer, day 20, 491 AV/18 years old. Gender: Female Physical Description Once, Maea would have been considered lovely, the very image of feminine splendor. Her warm, golden-brown eyes were wide under full, arching brows perfectly shaped and never furrowed. Her hair, a warm, dark auburn, was full and usually exquisitely coiffed. Her figure was full, voluptuous, but not quite overweight. All in all, she was a beautiful, young woman. No longer. Now, she clothes herself in garments fit for travel which can render her nearly boyish if she doesn't speak and reveal herself-- her figure has dwindled with too little to eat and so much travel. Her eyes, now haunted by dark circles, move almost constantly, searching for disasters that my never happen. Her brow is often furrowed in thought or simple fatigue. Her hair no longer caught up in magnificent creations, is either bound in a plain braid or simply worn loose. Her face, once round with an easy life is now angular, bordering on gaunt. Character Concept Maea's demeanor is primarily one of wary interest. She wants to understand the things around her, but she doesn't know how much she can trust the stability of any given situation. She's more contemplative than she was in the past, and tries to think through things she would previously have taken for granted. Now removed from her old life, she seeks to define who she is outside the shadow of Rhysol's city. She yearns to understand the nature of order and chaos, of good and evil. More than that, though, she needs to eat. And sleep. And live. And simply managing those will be tough enough. Character History Coming Soon Training (Skills, Arcana, Gnosis, Lore) Skills (50 starting, 15 racial) Riding 10/100 - As she travels, Maea has become very accustomed to riding. Horsemanship 5/100 - Maea has been on the road for months, and has become very familiar with the care of her horse. Longsword 15/100 - Before fleeing Ravok, Maea was being groomed to follow her father, Sir Adrin Marwind, into the Ebonstryfe, complete with arms training. Storytelling 5/100 - Maea grew up on tales spun by Cherik, her family's household slave, and knows many by heart. Fishing 10/100 - Another skill taught to her by her family's slave, either emulating the hover-strike method of an Osprey using a sharpened stick, or the regular, boring method. Stealth 5/100 - This is another skill she was learning to develop as a petitioner to the Ebonstryfe, and one that has been honed by her experiences. Dancing 5/100 - A basic skill for a native of the romantic City on the Lake. Falconry 5/100 - Falconry was a hobby of her father's and it came in handy in the times when Cherik had a feather that needed imping. Cooking 5/100 - It's nothing to brag about, but Maea can at least cook a meal without burning it or ruining it in some disgusting way.
