Night-65th - 66th day of Fall, 511av
MATURE CONTENT WARNINGAnyone not over 18 go back now and avert your eyes. This is the tale of a female symenestra's night with a man of the shadows
Antar smiled a little as he lay with his legs crossed in the lotus position as he meditated. The practice was a much needed reprieve from the stresses which had overtaken his recent life, he seemed to have been antsy, even far more agressive then he usually would have been. Tensions were high, and he could feel the knots in his back. Antar felt he needed meditation even more now since he had delved deeper into matters of the arcana. To do this he had secured Ellise in her cage, covered it with blankets and put her in the side room. There would be noone in the room right now but him, leaving his mind to envision the frozen waterfall in his thoughts, scintillating in the moonlight as he breathed in and out slowly.
It helped to calm him, and to bring his mind back into focus enough to consider current events. But strangely, his thoughts wandered... not to the conflict ahead but to the remembered brushes of touching a single woman's pale white skin. The curvature of her hips resting against his amongst the waters. The smell of her scent, and the salty taste of her skin as well as a pair of violet eyes he felt he could drown in; the heat of her skin pressed against his if only for one night.
Even her name was elusive to him, an enigma he wished to probe and ponder even if he knew the dangers of it. She was a symenestra, the only one of her kind he had ever taken a bit of fancy too, and she was coming to see him tonight. She had teased him that locks wouldn't stop her tonight... well for his amusement he'd like to see her try. He had locked the front door of the inn's room, and then the window, and the slight door to the wooded balcony which faced the pleasant scenery of the woods below the hills.
The moon was high in the sky, casting pale beams of moonlight into the confines of his room, it's faint light casting his skin in a paler shade then what usually seemed to be the norm. Tonight, he hoped he was safe enough from the dangers of the future to enjoy the dangers of the present, and he wondered in which way such a marvelous creature would make her appearance known.
He wished for her to surprise him, and in turn to be surprised.
Whatever came in the hours to follow, Noth knew enough to smile with anticipation... it was going to be a long... exhaustive night for both of them.
