Horse shoes and Kelvics [Gin]

Luke felt like an ass when she commented on his jokes. She was a horse, of course she wouldn't get the joke. He was truly thick at times. But it mattered little to him. She accepted his offer and he grinned happily. It seemed he was still handsome enough to cover up his clumsy tongue. ”That's about the same direction. Lead me to your tent and I can find the way.”

He grabbed Keetah's reigns and gently pulled her along. She wasn't limping as bad as she was before. This Kelvic really knew her stuff. ”I haven't heard a harp before. In the bronze woods you hear little music besides the rain. Did family teach it too you?.. Bond mate maybe?” Luke said as they walked. Making sure to keep an eye on her expressions. If she was bonded then he might be walking some trouble. Last thing he needed was some Drykas spitting cud at him.

Horse shoes and Kelvics [Gin]

She gave a laugh that sounded sad as she led him through the tents. "Yes, my family taught me, my deceased mother to be exact. It hurts sometimes... being alone and all.. I normally don't have anyone to talk about it with.." She seemed to float as she walked, gaining a little skip in her step. She gave him a small smile, "So I'm glad that I met you today."

Horse shoes and Kelvics [Gin]

She had a wonderful way of speaking. Airy, yet intelligent. He understood the sadness in her voice about her lost parents. Even though he never had any, he still longed for them. Loss was a topic that came easy to him. As they walked he noticed how graceful her movements where, how delicate. She was beautiful as well. With her long silver hair and lithe body. To say the least, he was excited to have dinner with her. She seemed like a fun person to talk too. To get to know more. He needed warm company.

”I am glad I met you too Gin. And don't worry about it. I never had any parents myself. Grew up in an orphanage in Syliras.” He didn't know why he told her any of this, but he didn't care much. If he needed anything, it was a woman he could talk to. Sama'el was great company but a womanly touch was best in certain areas. Luke was raised around hard asses. A little sweet would go a long ways.

”So I get what your feeling. We can talk about it as long as you want, but from experience your gonna need a drink.” He gave her a toothy grin. He had never been able to trust people, Kelvics in particular with their bestial instincts. But it was hard not to feel good around this one. Her attitude was infectious.

And so they went to his camp. To talk and drink about the lives they have led and the people they have lost.

Just one thing that really wasn't a problem but needs to be set straight. Drykas don't take slaves, and they don't tolerate them on the grass, and are more often than not are able to find them and taking care of them quickly. Other than that good thread guys, I saw your both of your writing improve as the thread developed. If you have any questions just send me a pm!
