The priestess beckoned Eri to follow her, and the ethaefal meekly complied. He sat down on the comfortable cushion that she took out and mimicked her posture. As she closed her eyes she hummed, and Eri could not help but observe just how at ease she seemed at meditating. He had picked up the technique quite a while ago to calm his raging thoughts and to help see beyond his present life, but he was just not good enough to be able to keep his mind clear for so long.

Perhaps this child of Morwen would be able to help him, and he sincerely hoped that she would know be able to help him. Already, random jabs of thoughts and senses were thrown at him, and he was not sure if they were part of his imagination. The sense of deja vu was getting stronger, and he felt like he had just been here yesterday, but woke up and found the place changed.

These thoughts unnerved him, to say the least, and as he fidgeted uncomfortably he glanced at the calm woman for instructions. He tried to banish these strange thoughts and unfamiliar emotions that was assaulting him from all directions and to focus on the present. It was confusing enough to have to suddenly deal with them upon entering this sacred ground. It was with optimism that he looked at her for guidance, for if Morwen's own chosen could not help him find out more about Her, no one else could.

NOTICE: I am currently mostly inactive til August. As such, guild activities are temporarily halted (watch out for major revamps, changes and organizations when I'm back in full force). Any activity with Eri will be rather slow as well, but I am slowly readjusting back to "Mizahar life", so to speak, so do PM me if we have a thread that I left hanging and we'll talk.

Eridanus-
A single eye opened to look at the man sitting across from her. She smiled lightly before speaking up. "Listen to the wind. Not just the gusts, but how it rustles the pines of the trees and dances across the bark and stone of the temple." She held her hands out to the man, motioning for him to place his own upon her palms.

If Eridanus complied, the pair's hands would be just gingerly touching. She closed her eyes once more and breathed in. "Feel my hands as I breathe in. Know when I do so and mimic the action. Continue until it is natural. We will then be at the same pace and there for, more able to connect." She breathed out slowly through her mouth. "In through your nose, out through your mouth."

When the two were at the same pace, Lee'ena spoke up. "Now imagine that all of your thoughts, anxieties, everything is water. The water fills your body all the way to the top of your head." The priestess took a moment to follow her own advice, imagining a wave rising up to the top of her body. "Once you have that imagined, focus on it's level dropping. Imagine it slowly washing away like a wave on the beach." She breathed in through her nose. "The tide rolls in…" She exhaled through her mouth. "The tide recedes…"

"The water is receding but it must go somewhere. Imagine there are holes or roots coming from every part of your body that is touching the cushion. Imagine those roots reaching through the cushion, through the floor, and into the earth below. The water will escape your body through these exits until all of the water is gone." The point of the exercise was to get the mind to focus on one particular thing, the water. If one was thinking about a water level dropping, it's waves swelling in and out, and exiting the body, it would be hard to think of much else. If one's thoughts went to, say their plans for the next day, they would forget the level of the water and have to start over. "Let me know when the water is gone."

Gromm-
It was not everyday one saw a Jamoura in the Temple of Everwinter. Of course, all were welcome and Gromm was not exception. Lee'ena walked to his side, watching the great creature meditating. She found it intriguing. The great scholars of The Spires never ceased to amaze. She did not want to interrupt his thoughts but on the off chance he did open his eyes, she would mutter a hello and introduce herself.

They said I'd be a gem.
But now that I'm a Cheshire Cat,
It's odd how odd I am...
