Born: 34th day of Summer Year 509, A Few Weeks Old
Physical Description:
A hooded figure, approximately 5' 10" tall, his exact shape is inconsistent and he has been seen changing to resemble someone he is watching briefly. His image tends to flicker during periods when he appears to be stressed.
Ghostly Aura: The air around Duskshroud is a only a little colder then the ambient, but near him the sounds of waves and a smell of salty brine are apparent.
Character Concept
Personality - Frustrated and Impatient, while he doesn't understand it yet, Duskshroud has a lack of tolerance with others not doing as he wishes them to do. Recently departed, he has difficulty manifesting to communicate and this only fuels his frustrations. His manifestation is most clear when he is truly angry, and during these periods he has been seen throwing barrels and stomping on the planks of the docks.
Ethics - Duskshroud has not hurt anyone nor attempted to. His antics at the docks and elsewhere in the city can be safely classified as tantrums.
Likes - Socializing with Others, Interaction
Dislikes - His current state is driving Duskshroud to a certain madness, but at the same time he is quickly evolving the basic skills to help him manage.
* Character History- Largely Unknown
o Pre-Creation -
Duskshroud has only just recently begun to manifest in the nighttime streets of the Syliras, particularly near the docks or the gates. Sailors there have named him shroud, demon, shade and other names, many vulgar or sinister, do to his appearance of cowl and cloak. The guards coined the name Duskshroud, as he appears at dusk. The apparition responded to the name and so it stuck.
Confused and obviously frustrated, the ghost often pushes small crates or barrels into the water if they are too near the dockside, leading to some Captains complaining of him being a nuisance. The ghost tends to linger near small groups of people but keeps to himself.
Duskshroud can not yet fully recall his life. His very recent demise has left him with shattered fragments of memory that are, as of yet, incoherent. He is frustrated and in constant grievous pain. He despises daylight, though it does not cause him any direct harm. His tendency to pace in exact measured steps, straight backed and high chinned suggest a military profession or similar past. He has what appears to be a cutlass often attached to his side. Sometimes, however, it is a saber instead. Still, other nights he appears as a mere light and assumes no distinct shape at all.
