Nira'lia has pale blond hair which reaches until her shoulders. She has a childlike face, resembling someone in her late teens. Her eyes have a light blue color, her skin the color of ivory. Typical of her kind, iridescent white scales can be seen on her feet, legs, beneath her neck, and down the length of her back; Aside from that, her fingers and toes are webbed.

She wears a blue blouse which hugs her lithe figure, and a white skirt. On colder days, she also wears a thick white coat.

She has Avalis's gnosis mark on the back of her right hand, and Rak'keli's gnosis mark on her right shoulder.

Character Concept
For the first fourteen years of her life, Nira'lia knew nothing but the life of a slave. She grew up in Sunberth with her mother and two sisters. She has more sisters, but they were taken away at birth, and she can't even count their numbers anymore. Life in Sunberth was hard, her mother and sisters being made to breed as if they were animals. She knew that fate was going to befall her as well when the time came.

The day she was set free was the happiest of her life. They were on a caravan from Sunberth to Ravok, when at the dead of the night, mercenaries attacked to free them and the other slaves. It had been years ago, she can't remember the names or faces of her saviors, nor what really happened that night. All she could remember was continuing their travel to Zeltiva (it was the closest and safest city) for a life anew. Nira'lia has never been to the island of Mura, yet she yearns to travel there, a strong urge within her. Her mother, however, refuses to sail back because of the shame of being caught as a slave almost a century ago.

Like most Konti, Nira'lia has a calm and peaceful demeanor. Even after more than ten years of freedom, growing up as a slave has made her intensely oblivious to the world. As such, many things in the world amazes her. She is quite the curious woman and is also keen on meeting new friends in order to partake in new experiences, which is one of the things which is deprived of a person with no freedom.

Because she has seen much suffering, Nira'lia cannot help but attempt to aid anyone in need, even if it is a stranger who she has no attachments to. Because of this, she is over trusting to a fault.

Her Gift - One's Joy
On touch, Nira'lia is able to catch a glimpse of a person's memory right at the moment that he or she was the happiest. For a moment, she will feel as if she was in their place. Nira'lia will feel the happiness as well, depending on the intensity of the person's emotions in his memory. This will only occur the first time she touches a person, meaning that the event will not repeat itself for a certain person.

Marked followers of Avalis bear the first bloom of the Seer’s Lily and can delve into the Chavena at will seeking individual chavi and reading the past. Their sight at this level is rough. It can be unpredictable and hit-or-miss, but if they can indeed find the chavi they are looking for and read of its past, they have no problems coming up with answers to questions that might be presented to them. At this level, individuals cannot read the present or the future. There is also very little danger of mental illness or the seers becoming lost in the Chavena.

Healers can close shallow wounds, cure headaches and common colds, ease strained or tense muscles, and take care of minor rashes, allergies and depression. They can also deal effectively with snake bites, insect bites, and skin irritation due to plants such as poison ivy, and heal minor bruising. Healers with a singular gnosis mark can also purify deeper wounds with their touch, improving sanitation and eliminating the threat of dangerous wounds going septic or developing infection.

Skill-based

Artist's Toolkit What We Need This kit contains a number of items useful to those who produce art; paintings, drawings and sketches. There is a collection of various types of brushes, a number of different sized canvases, a number of small bowls and a handful of specially shaped charcoal.

Suvai Missing the War These are three-pronged weapons carved from the shed spiral horns of a white ocean whale. Complete with spiral handles they are used almost exclusively by the Konti women. When they draw blood, the Suvai tend to weaken the person they cut or pierce, so its highly likely the horn the Suvai are carved from is inherently poisonous to those not Konti.
