Physical Description: Bjorn stands at six feet and ten inches tall. He weighs 280 pounds and is well muscled. His eyes are a dark blue and near his left eye is a tattoo of simple, curving design. A large, some what shallow scar runs all the way from his right shoulder to the left side of his belly. He also has many scars over his hands and arms from fighting. Long, brown hair extends loosely to his shoulders and frames his face, while his beard is separated into two braids.

Concept: While raised as an Isur by his step father, a most human personality trait of his is his short temper and ability to hold a grudge. He is some what of a quiet man, but not out of dislike for the company of others. Common is his second language, and he some times has trouble communicating. He is loyal to his brother,, and the few friends he might have. He does not have many, though, due to his particular line of work. He began his career as a mercenary half way through his sixteenth year, and killed for the first time when he was seventeen. Working with his brother and father, mostly with the Ebonstryfe, he has a long history as a slaver and killer. Neither bother him. Though he has traveled as long as his memory goes back, he could almost call Ravok home. The only ones he does not like killing are children and Isur.

Religion: He was raised by Isur and thus has been raised to praise Izurdin, but due to his exposure to the Ravokians and perhaps his own parentage, he has a strong underlying affinity for Rhysol as well.

Likes: The Isur, Kelvic, and Dhani races, Mountainous and hill areas, places that do not have bright light, heavily wooded areas, the cold, and Physical Training.

Dislikes: Charodae, hot and humid enviornments, large bodies of water, bright light, reimancers, Sylrian Knights, and poisons.

~~~History~~~

Bjorn was born in Sylrias, son of a knight and a rather wealthy botanist, seemingly premature. In later months of his infancy, his health and vitality threw the claim of his birth being premature into question. In truth, he was the product of his mother’s violation by a servant of Rhysol. To hide her shame, she took the young Bjorn to the forest just out side Sylrias with her, saying that she was just going to gather herbs and flowers. She did so, but left Bjorn where she put him, thinking that this would end her troubles at home. She cared not about weather her child lived or died, only that the problem of him stopped bothering her. It was her misfortune that he survived.

That very day, a traveling Izurian mercenary happened upon him. Not one to be charitable, it was a strange thing for him to consider the human child. It some how reminded him of his own son back in Sultros, and so he took the child as his own. It was very demanding of the Isur to keep Bjorn as a son, and costly to have him looked after while at work for days or even weeks at a time, often for the Ebonstryfe. It became easier once he became some what self sufficient at around seven.

At the age of eight, Bjorn’s step brother travels from Sultros to meet up with their father and carry out mercenary work with him, due to the death of his mother by way of illness. At first, the two were less then pleased to meet the other, both wanting to prove himself the better son. By the time Bjorn was ten and allowed to travel with them on some missions, the two became close friends. They came to rely on each other more then their father for companionship, and were not overly distraught to see him go several years after the meeting.

Bjorn is now twenty-three years of age. His father has left he and his brother, to return to Sultros since “with the woman gone, some one has to take care of the family home”. With that excuse, and the thought that serving in the Isurian military would do better for him then being a common sell-sword, he gave them most of his coin to start them off well on their own. As a special gift, he gave Bjorn his Isurian steel battle axe, the weapon both preferred. He would not worry for either of the young men, so long as they had each other.

~~~Recent History, Pre-Creation~~~
Bjorn and his brother are doing odd jobs in Ravok. Bjorn, left to his own devices, has grown ambitious and now seeks to bring together more mercenaries then just he and his adoptive kinsmen. He spreads the word of this, that he is looking for people who might work under him as part of a new band of mercenaries and slavers called, in Nader-canoch, the RechaYomi.
