The Silver Beacon Denval's centuries old lighthouse shines out to the sailors and ships to warn them off from the rocks. Originally constructed in 327 A.V. to keep a light shining for the fishermen travelling off shore in the darkness, it was re-purposed from a series of signal fire beacons that were spread throughout the pre-Valterrian Unforgiving. There was a more subtle motivation in its new incarnation, though: the hope that the tower signal fires might be seen by other denizens of Mizahar, the hope that Denval was not alone. The Silver Beacon is nestled on a small mount reaching out beyond the settlement's rocky harbor. The strand linking it to the mainland stretches out from Denval's beach, and is only accessible during low tide. The path is treacherous and slippery, but for those in the know, there is a straightforward route. The Lighthouse is set on three levels, separated by a winding staircase. The uppermost floor is called the Sunwell, where the lights shine. There is a large, hurricane style lantern, surrounded by mirrors at various angles to reflect the light in all directions, piercing the darkness. The other two floors are the owner's living space, full of curios he has collected from shipwrecks. There are helms, planks of wood, small, exotic ornaments, and even a large anchor. The first floor's central piece is a human-sized statue dedicated to the God of the Sea, Laviku. NPCs :
