PersonalityMore often than not, Sera is seen as the "little sister" type. She can be very naive and sweet, with such a tender heart and open soul. Sera loves people and finds the good in all, even when it is wrong to do so. She trusts everyone until they prove to be untrustworthy, which is by far her downfall. She also will do anything to help someone in need, in that sense she is loyal. So much trouble has come out of it in the past. Though she still hasn't grown out of it. Sera proves herself to be adventurous and wanting nothing more than to learn and be able to know enough to one day be respected and for people to go to her with questions.
Though, she finds that she'll do things without thinking and at the blink of an eye if she sees something interesting. Or maybe it's the adrenaline rush that gets her.
She loves to dance as well as sing. Her movement on an everyday basis is so fluid, just her walk looks like a dance. Sera also has a soft voice, able to calm the most angry soul at the slightest whisper, though part of that could be the Vani language. Timid at times, and outgoing at others, Sera’s dramatic persona only gets worse by age. She can be a very theatrical person when it comes down to it.
Though, Sera is still unsure what she wants to do with her life. Part of her wants to be a carver, like her father, but then again, she wants to leave her home and venture off, though her parents would never allow it. They want her to stay near home; they want her to marry.
Another part of her wants to learn to be a healer, to help people out in any way she can. As she grows, she finds herself leaning in that direction more and more. But that would mean moving between holds, something she knew would be frowned about by her family.
In the end, she figures that life will take her where she's meant to be. She knows that as long as she tries her best to be a good person, everything will work out and she'll find a sense of where she is supposed to be.
Character HistoryBorn and raised in Avanthal, Sera is accustomed to the culture and traditions of home. She was very close to her family, and those close to her family, but always wanted more. Her father was an excellent carver, and taught some of his skills to Sera. Though when she was younger, she wasn't too interested in it. Her mother was talented in sewing clothing, weaving, and home making. She grew up living in the Skyglow hold, where her mother specialized in sewing and weaving, while her father specialized in carving, respectively. She also has a older sister by one year, named Nica and an elder brother name Khristian who is six years older. Growing up, they would get along most of the time, but still they had their differences. Secretly, Sera looks up to her sister more than anything, even though they are only a year apart. But on the other hand, Nica drives her crazy. She wishes her sister was more outgoing. Khristian was adopted when she was was a baby, but Sera doesn't know. She believes he's as much of her blood as her sister.
Another influence in her life is Silarial. Silarial is a girl Sera always looked up to. Of anyone in Avanthal, she would call her a rolemodel. She loves the way Silarial presents herself and her ability to perform. Silarial is one of the reasons Sera wishes to do something with her ability to dance.
Winter 511:Sera learned a lot during this season. She met a lot of people and learned a lot of lessons, even fought some well deserved fights with her sister. She befriended a yak... er a Kelvic. As well as caused some pranks and got in some trouble. Over all, she grew as a person.
Winter 512:Sera obtained a job at the Whitevine Healing Center. She also helped out and befriended a blind Vantha girl. She realized that dancing was more of her love, not a reasonable way to make a difference.
